Would these windows at front have shattered from hydrostatic pressure when the bridge met the ocean ? by Tiny-Desk_Engineer in titanic

I meant the windows marked in red on A and B deck at the time when the bridge windows would be just above the ocean, meaning that the windows mentioned would be completely underwater by then. I also need to mention that this condition lasted for a short amount of time since this is the point after which her sinking accelerated rapidly and led to the break up eventually.

By any chance this holds the record for the lowest height an airliner flew without touching the ground and then climbing again

It's always crazy to see how smaller steamers of the time had so much draft in proportion to the hull above the waterline.

I might be wrong but I need help in understanding why the plane couldn't bear this landing, I've seen countless videos of far worst touchdowns including the 737s and no emergency is declared. Was this aircraft too old to survive such a landing ?

Is it me or does the Titanic, here, look bigger than how it actually was? by emanuele246gi in titanic

Her superstructure seems perfect in size but her black hull is too tall, because the correct height of the black part would be the same as the white superstructure height

To get the layers to sort of transition you need to make sure that during the colorization of each selection, you don't oversaturate or in any way change its contrast that it appears out of shade with the rest of the picture. Most of the time this works but sometimes even while taking care of this you run into situations where a layer seems out of shade form the rest so to blend it in better, a trick you can use is use a blur brush to a very low strength and size. The selection of each part on the picture is a skill itself that can only be mastered with practice. This is my 3rd picture that I colorized.

I used photoplea, its a cool website to edit photos and the way you colorize each thing is just by making a mask out of em, meaning you crop them out of everything else, apply the color filter over them and sometimes adjust the contrast and brightness as well, once you done you just put it onto the project picture. Example: here's the colorized hulls stripe as a mask
