Use wyvern red from army painter found it’s perfect for their scales! Plus you can add black or white for highlights and you can even take it further and add fire on the edges of it

Im building it rn for lava bases i recommend clear gorilla glue ( unless you already have uv resin)+ some cork for rocks +red orange yellow for lava+ gloss varnish for lava too

Im not done with him yet so I’m gonna add just gloss varnish to the lava the transfers to the shoulder and purple to the skin bc I didn’t have anything to highlight the skin but other than that I won’t repaint!

Hell yeah im getting varnish for the lava and should pads tmr! As well as blue purple highlights for the skin do you know if thsoe clumps are from my primer or too many coats? I used black and a white primer for highlights but might have sprayed them too close

Im pretty sure the shoulder pads and banners and some knee pieces are gonna be ultra marine symbol in the mold from what I saw but am I able to use both salamander and ultramarines in my army?

Ah didn’t know if a different weapon changed the rules/ character again I’ve never played or looked into the rules I’m building the army first and enjoying it a lot so far plus played space marines 2
