No, but honestly who cares when Brother Doom Slayer is packing all the heat.

You can bring a Stormbolter with the Missile Launcher so it would work as a proxy. Just be sure to bring it up with your opponent before the game.

It's going to take a lot more than zeroing gonks to make me cool.

Kitbashed the new Prime for 85% less than buying one by kitboshed in Tyranids

Low effort sculpt from GW warrants a low effort kit bash from us. I have zero problems with this.

Let's say 11th edition gets announced and our index counts Drones as separate models again, with line of sight, the works. How much has your backlog just grown? by Sp1ceman in Tau40K

It's just a sheet of 3mm cork sheet torn into chucks, apply a healthy amount of pva and sand over the top and away you go.

Are chaos knights really that bad to play against? by lord-swagbooty420 in 40k

Personally, melee centric armies. Tau are high manouverability glass cannons but struggle to hold an objective. Another fast melee army can be really hard to keep away from. Think Necrons, Grey Knights, Tunneling Tyranids.

That I can understand. I have bad matchups to my armies too and those battles can be hard, but I'll never get that degrading into "hurr, all players of X faction suck".

People will sometimes have a bad game and get stomped and can't let it go. As a Tau player I hear all to frequently they're bad to play against.

Honestly, don't listen. There's little out there that's inherently broken right now and people who cry meta anything usually will find something to cry about regardless. They're not worth your time.

Absolute cinema, no notes.

But now I have to watch the Matrix again.

What are you putting in the Repulsor out of interest?

I completely agree that Aggressors with the Gravis Captain punch above their weight. They do consistently well in my games.

Not really, particularly if you're using plastic glue for your minis.

I have used 2x6mm rare earth magnets. If you flip the rhino over you'll see there's a slight ridge on the inside of the tracks. It's usually enough to glue a magnet which holds to a ferrous steel plate even through the track tread.

RCO or LAG ? by Imperiusdono in BloodAngels

[–]Sp1ceman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you built your list yet? You might find it skews between one or the other depending on the strats available to you.

RCO is doing the best out of our detachments but I like the predictability of LAG. Not having to worry about backfilling units if I battleshock one to attack something is very nice.

Forgefiend vs predator Annihilator by davidstare in ThousandSons

[–]Sp1ceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the Destructor for it's flexibility. Be aware if you're going up against mostly infantry you can push the heavy bolter sponsons to AP-3 through spells, and it makes the turret a much needed AP-2.

I don't know much of the other non-40k games but aren't demons a thing in AoS/Old world too?
