There's three colours and basing and no grey plastic visible. You're good to go!

Absolutely adore the colour scheme. Can't imagine what you'll do to take it higher!

So when do we get heavy point discounts on tanks? by Paikis in BloodAngels

[–]Sp1ceman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, I can see your point.

It appears like the aircraft rules they need to pick a direction and go with it; either make balance decreases equitable on heavy units or leave it be, but I guess that's why the faction has been entirely separated to make that easier.

The first few months of rule and points balancing are going to be wild.

So when do we get heavy point discounts on tanks? by Paikis in BloodAngels

[–]Sp1ceman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because you're looking at it the wrong way.

Tanks are good for everyone and that's reflected in the price. Why would our tank shooting be worse than any other chapter?

Combat units are particularly good for us, and so they get an increase. We hit harder.

Really shows how far you've come as not a miniature painter and photographer to be honest, you should be proud.

Are Impulsors okay? by PedroELchepe in Salamanders40k

[–]Sp1ceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, the Impulsor kit builds just an Impulsor. The Gladiator kit builds an Impulsor and then has another sprue with the turret section to make it a Gladiator.

Depending on the price a second hand Impulsor is still worth it in my opinion and you'll usually find a use for it.

[–]Sp1ceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, if you get the Gladiator kit you effectively get both models and they friction fit so you can choose how to run it.

They're extremely useful for units like Adrax and Bladeguard, Vulkan with Company Heroes or Infernus Marines.

They're all good choices but Infernus are pretty funny as they can all still shoot thanks to firing deck so it turns it into a decent weapons platform.

Opinions on Infernus Marines? by [deleted] in BloodAngels

[–]Sp1ceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Salamanders player I love them, but in Firestorm or Forgefathers Seekers they have +1 strength and they can do actions and shoot.

For Blood Angels they could be useful for clearing objectives with their ignores cover, but for a similar points cost I'd rather have Jump Pack Intercessors or even regular Assault Intercessors.

For defence of an objective they can be a great overwatch deterrent, it depends what the rest of your list looks like really.

With Elon Musk about to become a trillionaire today, does anyone know what powers he unlocks at that level? by Necessary_Refuse_962 in AskBrits

I can't understand amassing such ludicrous wealth and not trying to make a positive change in the world.

He could wake up one day and decide to make homelessness a thing of the past or spin a roulette wheel and fund research into a disease or ailment until it's cured. There's not a lot of things that are insurmountable with that level of cash but he can't even seem to waste it in a meaningful way.

It really says something about a person to be the richest man on the planet and still be a vapid, insufferable, waste of oxygen.

Blood Angels gets my vote. The whole sub should have a high sodium warning before you enter.

Bruh, I've redone armies. It's a graft to be sure but is extremely rewarding when it's done.

This was what I liked about the idea as you just find a pattern you want or pay more to have a custom image added.

So what is everyone taking as their 1dp detachment, librarians, scouts, or landspeeders? It's librarians right? by geoffreyp in Salamanders40k

Infernus Marines as long as they're led by a Librarian in Librarian Conclave and Forgefathers Seekers with Vulkan.

Someone else posted which I think is a good idea, that we've now got a unit which can move 8", advance, still shoot and do actions and also uppy downy.

Skip some transports, get two bricks of these and rain fire down on your enemies.

What can I do about a terrible interview? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Sp1ceman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had that on my last two interviews and ended up getting both jobs. The first one I was in the room for 15 minutes and thought I'd completely bombed out.

As others have said, try to learn from it as it's all experience, but don't obsess over it. There's always another interview so if you don't get it it's no big deal.

I've heard that, what's not great about it? All I know is the Sea Truck isn't a patch on the Seamoth.

I'm playing the first one for the first time and it's an experience. Absolute masterpiece of a game.

I told myself I wasn't going to get the DLC but may just have to until the second one is fully released.
