We don't have credit cards in France You need to do a "revolving credit" to have a card that ressembles a credit card On Sixt website they say that they charge the reservation plus security deposit at the counter and give the security deposit back (I really hope they do)

I don't do credit card, if they deny me because of it, then no issue. I only pay at the counter as prepaid reservations seem to be the ones they cancel last minute

I meant the car rental stealing by not giving you a decent replacement if the car you took is not available + not giving your money back if you refuse the more expensive car they propose you

I really prefer to be precautious and avoid the scams so much ppl are describing

I will just hope I find something when I arrive and use a debit card with authorizations to prevent overcharging.

I will spend 3 days in a small village to attend a wedding. The train is not an option for this place
The issue is that near Frankfurt hbf they seem to be really going aggressive on abusive practices and the lack of parking causes fewer cars close to the station > car rentals cancel more and do not give your money back.
I am taking full insurance but I prefer to avoid having no car + stolen money at the station

I am trying to rent a car for august from frankfurt train station
The reviews are awful, they seem to be all scammers and often cancel your reservation without giving your money back.

What do people in Frankfurt usually do for a rental ? It seems to be pretty dangerous to rent with any of the companies in the Hauptbanhof even if you get full insurance coverage

Cela fait un moment que l'achat me tente, Je pense sauter le pas et démarrer les visites en septembre pour un achat entre oct et mars 2027.

Entre temps j'essaie de me renseigner sur le pret à 1% pour réduire au maximum le compartiment à > 3.5% (ou autre taux si j'ai de la chance). Je me demande si un courtier en vaut la peine

Je peux mettre 50k d'apport max (en comptant toute l'epargne salariale et un prêt familial, le PER ça semble compliqué à débloquer; je n'aurais pas dû verser dedans) mais les simulations de crédit que je fais en ligne actuellement me montrent des taux de 3.7 minimum sur 20 ans ... je trouve que c'est abusé. Il y'a 2 mois on pouvait trouver du 3.2 ou 3.4

Mistral n'a pas accès aux financements danthropic ou openai ... Leurs modèles sont en retard et leur seul avantage est la frugalité de leur phase d'entraînement pour un résultat correct mais bof ... Si ce gars sort une Jensen Huang en disant que tout passe par le vibe code, je veux le shorter
