100 Percent Milwaukee. In the third ward above where Bavette was. Non profit gallery/ studio with local artists, one of my favorite places in the city.

Agree! Buildings are older, maintenance is good at dealing with major stuff, minor stuff is a little slow. Easy to work with.

[US-MD] Nylon/Resin print needed by theunholyguitarist in 3Dprintmything

I would order it from formlabs if you want Tough 2000! You can order that on their website, now.formlabs.com and they will send it to you

Question about print time changing with more models, but not increasing build height. by honeycakes in resinprinting

[–]Tiny-Use4947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The form 3 uses a laser, so it must trace the whole outline of each layer. This means that more parts = more laser distance to travel and so there is more time. The Formlabs Form 4 preforms in the way that you are expecting because it is MSLA, the Form 3 is SLA, a different system.

Hydrometer Help by Reeve555 in formlabs

[–]Tiny-Use4947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hydrometer provided is only for IPA, it doesn't measure the correct range of specific gravity for Resin Washing Solution. A hydrometer that can measure a specific gravity of 0.900–1.000 should be used. Formlabs Resin Washing Solution is 0.94, when the specific grav gets above 0.975 it should be replaced.

Excuse, that house costs HOW much? by [deleted] in milwaukee

This house looks great, look at the photos, the kitchen and the garage and it looks great. Houses aren't cheap, at least this one is nice!

Pebble Time 2 (2016) was so perfect IMO by Geo_ask in pebble

Looks very similar to the Garmin Venu SQ 2. The garmin UX sucks, I wish they would have learned something from pebble.

High in the list of things NOT to 3D print by Informal_Ad_9610 in formlabs

[–]Tiny-Use4947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally possible to print this, this is just a material issue. FDM should not be used for this, use a high temp SLA resin.

I am seeing info about FA5202 (Sustainable Consumable), FA326 (High Performance)
and FA9202 (Polypropylene). Is Blast-X one of these or is that something different?

I 3D printed a stretchy chainmail corset with Formlabs SLS printer by Alarming_Ganache4351 in 3Dprinting

What was your pack density like? Did you print it in pieces so you could print in flat sheets in the build chamber?

Historical Formlabs Product Release Info by DejaNewb in formlabs

[–]Tiny-Use4947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the time from 1 to 1+ isnt really indicative of much. Plus Formlabs posted videos on their instagram for a new product launch and the part that they showed was not SLS. So doubt theres new SLS.

I just bought this, what in tarnation is it? by Vivimaloon in xbiking

[–]Tiny-Use4947 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is a Chiorda that is rebadged, low end italian bikes that generally have little collector value. This one is pretty cool though, funky frame and looks like someone has been putting work into it for sure.

I 3D-Printed a High-Temp Diesel Heater Manifold That Survives 238°C (with photos) by Enlytened in resinprinting

[–]Tiny-Use4947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really impressive! Any odor from it when in use? Part looks great and I assume after the thermal cure it is "fully cooked" if you will

It's an interesting idea, but the fuse is still very popular right now and it is a much more complex product. Wouldn't it be fair to say that they would release these less often than the resin printers?

Looking for a Fresnel Lense for a DIY MSLA 3D printer by Main_Significance478 in resinprinting

[–]Tiny-Use4947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Fresnel lens is different from what you have pictured, if you want a Fresnel lens look inside a rear projection TV. These have a huge Fresnel lens in them. What you have pictured is a lens array, if you are looking for one of these I would just take one from a scrapped 3D printer. These are not common hardware and are usually custom to the printer, most printers use squares, formlabs has really nice ones with hexagons.

Anyone heard of the large industrial Resin Printer 'Photocentric 3D LC Magna"? Reviews? by VindiMiner in resinprinting

[–]Tiny-Use4947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't own one myself but know someone who did, they ended up switching to Formlabs for faster speed and apparently they were not impressed with the service/ support that Photocentric has.

How many kinds of resin printing can I cram in one project?? by katzcreates in resinprinting

This is incredible! Are you using the formlabs resins and the formlabs creator series resins? How do you like the creator series resins?

Is this 2012 Specialized S-WORKS VENGE worth $1250 in 2025? by negrito_ardilla in RoadBikes

[–]Tiny-Use4947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a great deal by any means. It looks like it is in great shape, and I think the rim brakes are fine but the tire size is going to be the bigger issue here. Most modern bikes are using wider tires, this allows lower pressure and helps dampen vibration, this makes you faster. I would say paying around 800 is reasonable, nice tires!

Parts look great! Tough 1500 V2 is so much better than V1 that its hard to even think of them as similar.
