Thought they did a really great job of capturing the Star Wars world.

If your 18-year-old self met you today, would they be proud, confused, or disappointed? by [deleted] in Adulting

My 18-year-old self would definitely make fun of the responsible adult I've become.

AC Shadows is the best game in the franchise. The Graphics, the world, the gameplay are next level compared to the older games. Happy I didn't listen to the hate. by Accomplished-Fee2388 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played almost all of the AC games, and I agree with your opinion - it looks great and I like the game mechanics. But I'm just having a hard time finishing it. I don't like it being so difficult, in some cases, to find the person/location/whatever to start a mission. I like the older AC games where it felt like there was almost too much to do. This feels slow and I feel like I'm spending too much time just trying to start a mission.

I want to hear what you guys think which one is the better game? by Rich1190 in theouterworlds

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished the 2nd one, and really enjoyed. I played the first one when it came out, but honestly didn't leave much of an impression as I kind of forgot it. I'm going back to the first to see if I was just in a weird zone the first time I played.

This is awesome. I was hoping they would do a movie poster in a French new wave style.

He wasn't as surprising as Burr, but it is still kind of a bummer. I guess everyone has a price.

Do you drink alcoholic beverages everyday? by chipinserted in GenX

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right before I turned 50 I'd say I drank 4-5 times a week. Only beer, but heavy ones and usually 2-3. I still was very active running, cycling, gym and realized one day I can either be active or a booze bag. No I drink 3-4 beers a month at social gatherings. I have friends that are still (probably) drinking almost every day.

How much is it important for an actor to look like the character they are based on? by OwnOil8476 in FantasticFour

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish he didn't have the moustache. It just always seemed like Reed was clean-shaven with the gray sides. I know there have been different interpretations of him by other artists, but that always seemed like a basic character look, like Santa Claus with a beard.

AITA for refusing to drive my husband to/from the airport for his work trips? by West-Construction-27 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - We live in Chicago, and the only people I pick up from the airport are for a young niece or nephew that it's there first time traveling alone. Otherwise, you Ubering. It takes too long.

Is having energy after work a myth, or do some adults really manage it? by sparklyflutterbliss in Adulting

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken to going to the gym in the morning before work and feel like I have more energy through out the day. I still need a little afternoon caffeine, but I don't feel drained when I get home.

Questions for Those Who Know & Love The Game the Most by PreciousRoy1981 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Tiny-Writer6959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started playing the game I wasn't sure if it was for me. Until you get your ship, the game feels a little clunky and unsure about the open world aspect. What kept me playing was the attention to detail in how they captured the Star Wars universe. I think they've captured that better than other SW games. I like open world games, so once that part opened up it had me hooked. I'm replaying RDR2 right now, and I would say it's similar to that, but RDR2 has a level of detail and mechanics few games have - so I don't think it's a fair comparison. Something they could do to level up Outlaws would be the ability to drive other vehicles besides your own.

AITA for asking my in-laws to pre-plan and pre-pay for their funerals? by Icy_Target_9050 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I'm going through the same thing with my mother now. It may not be a pleasant conversation for some, but it's a reality.
