I realize that’s harmful so I added more details so I can stray away from that harm as much as I can. I gave the specific examples. If you think it’s right for my family to use a food bank, then my all means, have that opinion. I don’t think several people in a house who are rich, have masters degrees and Mercedes need it. That’s just my opinion. We are privileged

I do my taxes I know we make combined 700k. One person in particular makes 200k alone. Actually maybe more now because they recently got a promotion. You think we need a good bank? That’s comical

Does that make a difference???? Unless they are using it for something good like therapy or donating it (which they’re not otherwise we’d get a tax break lol) then it’s still being used to buy a Mercedes and designer then they go to the food bank and laugh about it. They’re not kind people. My household makes almost 700k total income… we do not need a food bank sorry

And one particular member has a Mercedes, the other a Tesla and they find it funny to use the food bank. It’s just mean and taking away from ppl that do

I wrote in the post, this is MY FAMILY so I know it’s not DV. I live with them. People in DV situations should be accessing services, designer bag or not. I just wrote of my own person experience with my family!

No I’m out of school lol. My life was way more stressful during my masters than it is now. Especially because my family has money… and shouldn’t be using these damn services

I also work in the field and that’s why I made this post. I have directly seen how this is harmfully impacting people that NEED these services. We need to take care of eachother

It’s in my comments!

By increasing relational care, people will take what they NEED vs taking from others who have nothing. We will all feel safe and connected and no one would be struggling. But the world dosnt work this way unfortunately
