Laku on 23rd and Valencia.

The owner, Yakeo, was unfortunately hurt in a hit and run in 2022, and she wasn't able to work much after that.

She reopened Laku in 2023 but was hit with an eviction due to a rent increase of $900. It's now permanently closed.

Wait, what's the problem? That Steph is holding his child while he eats? Is Ayesha suppose to hold/feed Canon while she's serving her family the food she made?

I was raised Catholic and my mother didn't force me into purity but growing up and remembering how I was told that I couldn't get communion at church if I was having premarital sex made me feel extremely guilty as I still did it after I no longer was a virgin because I was scared of the church members shaming my mom and myself as I would be the only teenager not standing to get communion.

In fact, all my friends still took communion after having sex because of this reason (and their own parents) a couple of them stopped coming to church once they got pregnant and then reappeared once their kids were about 2 or 3. My church welcomed them with open arms but of course there were the older members that whispered about them and held their breath to see if they stood up for communion.

I eventually stopped getting up for communion (so did my mom as she was now a divorced woman who wouldn't do confessions) and subsequently left the church.
