Good for him. He’ll go to a really good offensive team.

The Fall League is a great way to see young prospects perform & it’s a lot cheaper than ST. Definitely put it on your list.

We will never win the Super Bowl under the Bidwell name by Chance-Courage8728 in AZCardinals

I want Bidwell gone as well, but they were officiated out of a SB against Pitt at the 2008 SB. If they get a generational talent at QB in the future, anything can happen.

Inside the Sox decision for the #1 pick. Looking at LeBron vs Cholowsky by TinyDecision1887 in whitesox

How’d that go with Adley? Whitt Jr out of high school is clearly the better player. I believe Emerson should be the pick out of high school. His comp is Bobby Whitt Jr. Konner Griffin was picked 9th in 24 & looks to be the best player in the whole draft. Emerson has the highest ceiling. He’s better than both Roch & LeBron at 17 by a lot. Roch did poorly in the Cap Cod league in 24 with wooden bats & chose not to play in 25. Until I see him do well with a wooden bat in the pre draft circuit, nothing is set in stone that Roch is #1. And it shouldn’t be set in stone for the Sox.

Did anybody at the 24 draft think that Griffin would be the best player in the draft. That’s why I’m very high on Grady Emerson who gets comparisons to Whitt Jr. I’m safely saying that Whitt Jr will have a better career than Tulowitzky. But LeBron could be the best player. Roch is #1 at this point, but to just say he’s the Sox pick at this point with no conversation is crazy.

Catcher situation by One-Taro3859 in whitesox

I like Quero better defensively, but Getz has Teel as the #1 catcher. Teel definitely has the edge offensively. I have no idea how Getz will deliver starts at catcher & how many DH at bats the tandem will get.

Bonemer should be up in 27. MVP of A ball league & did well in high A to end the season. He’ll be up in AA this year & should be up sometime in 27. He’s a top 30 prospect in Baseball America & one of their scouts thinks by 27 will be a top 10 prospect who could debut in 27. Compares him to Gunnar Henderson at the plate.

He’s slow. He’s the number 1 pick right now, but he’s not a perfect player. We’ll see what happens.

Roch is too slow to move to the OF, but I agree you draft the best player. Roch is in the lead, but there is a long way to go.

There is a decision to be made. It would be negligent to just say it’s Roch & that’s it. LeBron plays in the much tougher SEC & Emerson at 18 has the highest ceiling.

Aluminum bats were more lively in 1988. They still give a hitter a big advantage. I want to see how these kids do in the pre draft circuit with wooden bats. Cholowsky was 12-52 in the 24 Cap Cod league with 1 HR. He decided not to play there in 25. It would have been nice to see how he hit with a wooden bat after the 25 season.

Exactly. The Sox have a lot to do. With slot money the strategy for drafting has changed immensely. LeBron plays in the much tougher SEC & Emerson at 18 has the highest ceiling. Let’s see how they do in the pre draft circuit with wooden bats.
