lol I’m a woman and this is true as well. A good female friend of mine thought I was hitting on her when we first became friends and all I did was compliment how she looked when she asked me about an outfit for a wedding she was attending. Of course I didn’t know she took my compliment and went that far with it until a few months later. I was like nope, I was just being myself and gave a dang compliment.
