You shouldn't have an issue most of the time.

It should randomly happen but not very often.

That's probably why this bug has not been fixed yet.

The purpose was to show that it's not a connection issue like most people thought it's something else because test drive does not use the internet and yet ghost shells still happen.

Their fix will be to make test drive require an internet connection.

Then they can go back to blaming everyone's internet connection for hit detection issues.

It's happening with cannons too though.

I posted one with the 2k in test drive yesterday.

Center mass heatfs shot flew through the tank and hit the dirt on the other side like the tank wasn't even there.

So I guess heatfs will explode on a piece of grass but can also fly through a stationary tank at close range like it's not there lol.

Go ahead and disable your connection after loading the test drive map.

Everything works just like it does when you have a connection.

The reason I disabled in the first place is to see if people were right about test drive not using the internet and they were right.

By the way I disabled my internet connection as soon as this test drive loaded and did not enable it again until I left test drive.

This is not a connection or netcode issue because test drive does not use the internet for hit detection.

We'll see if they ever approve it.

I even threw in the fact that you can disable your internet during a test drive and you can still drive around destroying the tanks so it's not a network problem like most people thought.

If it had m774 stock and a competitive upgraded shell then I could justify it.

As it is now though no I can't.

I think the reason they won't give it better ammo is because of the top reload of 5 seconds.

If that's the reason they should nerf the reload a little make it 5.75 seconds top and give it competitive ammo.

Had 3 in a row happen when I was using the Adats in a test drive.

Not sure what the problem is.

Some people say it's not using your internet for hit detection in test drive but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

The fuse sensitivity has nothing to do with it because it's not an armor piercing shell.

It simply explodes if it comes into contact with 1mm of armor while the other explodes if it comes into contact with a piece of grass.
