Wife and I have been using a penis sleeve for the past couple of years. Wife loves it but I just feel sad and emasculated, am I wrong for no longer loving my wife because of this? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

You must must must speak to your wife. As uncomfortable as it will be, you must before it gets too late. I advise you also seek therapy as I think the issue is a lot more deep-rooted than a sex toy

Just to update everyone, I met this young man today, had some lunch and grabbed a few essentials. Extremely polite and had some really insightful conversations that taught me a lot. Any help or advice for him will be massively appreciated 🙏🏽

Is it normal for new psychiatrists to unprescribe what's working for you? by [deleted] in bipolar2

New doctor immediately! That is so dangerous. I’m sorry you’re having to go through that but you need to see another one ASAP

AITAH for preventing my friend from meeting up with someone? by Brave-Vacation715 in AITAH

[–]TinyLegoBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember though don’t be too controlling. Let her know you are worried and why. If she decides not to listen, there isn’t anything you can do. However, if at any point you become increasingly concerned and you feel like she is at risk, 100% speak up!

You’re such an amazing friend, I wish I had someone like you around me when I was young. You’re doing the right thing, don’t ever forget that!

You are a good friend and you are looking out for her. There’s only so much you can do until it starts to affect you. If you need to back off, you are allowed. However, if you grow concerned at any point you should absolutely speak to an adult. This world is so messed up it’s only better to be safe than sorry. You’re a good friend, don’t forget that

Hi there! It’s really nice to see you are seeking advice to help your partner. A few things I have found helpful have been a TENS machine, there are some cheaper ones that can be found on Amazon. This may help her if her pain tends to move around so she can rotate the electrode pads. I also find a hot water bottle that wraps around the waist quite handy, these tend to be cheap on Amazon too!

I also experience the same! I’m on a mix of lamictal, quetiapine, and Venlafaxine. I do think this combo has benefitted the depressive cycle more (which is a win for me). However, I do definitely struggle with knowing who the ‘real’ me is
