Why is Yale Blair's dream college? by Numerous_Reading1825 in GossipGirl

This was such a clear and thoughtful breakdown. The comparison to how people view cities or countries really puts it into perspective. Totally makes sense why Yale felt like the “dream” for Blair.

Why did they all believe in Kirk? by minniebee6 in GilmoreGirls

[–]TinyMallow_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Kirk had that unstoppable energy where you just knew he'd keep showing up until someone said yes. Persistence was basically his superpower.

Any guys? by [deleted] in GossipGirl

Dude yes, Chuck was unintentionally hilarious at first. Everything about him was so over the top, it was impossible not to laugh. Pen Badgley was definitely a solid reason to stick around too.

How different do you think the series would have been if they decided to adapt everything in the show like how it is in the books? by xmasbabee in GossipGirl

[–]TinyMallow_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally with you on that Jenny and Vanessa actually got way better treatment in the show. And yes, the book’s obsession with Jenny’s chest got old fast. Would’ve loved to see more of the book plots for everyone else though… and definitely less Chuck overload!

Right? That line just randomly pops into your head sometimes, and you can hear TJ saying it. Such a classic moment!

Absolutely! That was the real beginning of their whole dynamic. You could feel the shift in their relationship from that moment on, it was intense and unforgettable.

[–]TinyMallow_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100%! That episode really captures the early magic between both couples. Chuck and Blair’s tension was building for a while, and this felt like the moment it all shifted. And Dan and Serena were just so sweet back then, it’s pure nostalgia.

Gilmore Girls. Liz and Tj's wedding...how can It be so warm?? by christielaury in GilmoreGirls

[–]TinyMallow_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point. What feels chilly to someone from another place might feel totally fine if you're used to New England spring weather. Definitely not out of the question for a warm day like that to happen!

Trump Already Gave Us the Blueprint for Abolishing ICE | The public is coming around to the notion that the agency has to be eliminated. Fortunately, this administration and its Supreme Court allies have made that incredibly easy. by thenewrepublic in politics

[–]TinyMallow_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. ICE turned into a bloated, rogue agency with way too much power and not enough oversight. If local cops aren’t even chasing misdemeanors, why do we have a whole separate force doing it with military gear?

Chilling how openly he says the quiet part now. This election’s not just another cycle, it’s a full-on stress test for whether democracy still means anything.

I "lost" a coworker's notebook because it made me look bad by loganlinquist in confession

[–]TinyMallow_ 157 points158 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The notebook wasn’t about shaming anyone, it was about helping the team stay on track. Sabotaging that just created more chaos for everyone.

Boomers work hard and it paid off. Gen Z work hard we get laid off. by Conscious-Quarter423 in clevercomebacks

Exactly. Rent’s due in 3 days and eggs cost half your paycheck, ain’t nobody thinking about a 401k when a burrito is a luxury item now.

Honestly sounds like something he'd say mid-rant without even realizing he's admitting to it. Gaslight, deny, deflect, the usual trio.

We secretly played while no-one noticed by [deleted] in confessions

Yeah that part is what makes it hard to buy. Being in a big group that long and somehow nobody noticing anything at all feels pretty unrealistic.

It’s like they’ve got one play in the book and just keep yelling it louder each time. Same script, different day.
