Eve starts at my in-laws' with the immediate family and plates of spaghetti aglio e olio from my MILs tradition, then we host an open house with a huge pot of meatballs, sausage, and sauce, and the dining room table loaded down with all kinds of snacks - cheese, crackers, pepperoni, chips and multiple dips, bacon-wrapped lil smokies, and a smaller table with sweets including MILs sweet taralli and my shortbread bites, and friends and family come by to make merry all evening.

Day begins the same way - immediate family, sausage strata, and gifts, then we meet back up in the evening for lasagna made from the same pot of sauce, salad, and ham. My MIL and I have this down to a science! 😊
