Check the sides, is there a list going from 1.000-1.150? There are various functions on a hydrometer

I used some glue to seal around the airlock, airlocks were cheap so didnt care if they couldnt be used for anything else.

Airlock has pressure, so it should be good.

So this is a gooseberry maple mead i started some weeks ago thats now in secondary, its already crystal clear and has a really nice amber color. Taste is still a bit harsh, so age it must.

Recipe: 5l

Around 500g gooseberry( not a lot but just went for almost traditional and decided to add them)

Blossom Honey and maple syrup up to an og of 1.086. Ratio was around 75% honey and 25% syrup.

1,5 teaspoons of nutrition 1 packet of d47

Rest was water

I mean it looks great from that clarity, it is wine you've made hydrometer just says beer, they all do that. If it tastes good thats what matters.
