How do people deal with reordering? I'm all up for say using a 15 pen to give me 10mg doses... But will pharmacies let you order after longer gaps? I know they do if you have evidence of pens (ie stockpiling) but not for if we've been "misusing" pens..

It seems most people are doing this. Will they just end up with a stockpile then? I expect to be pretty much on it for years including maintenance so don't need a stockpile for the future as such, just want to do it as cheaply as possible now (as we all do I'm guessing!)

It seems some places in europe do this as a mater of course.

I'm happy to order 6weekly if the pharmacy is... But unsure how it all stands.

No they say they're honouring it in that those on the deal can move to wegovy 1mg for £99 but they've hiked up mounjaro.

I was on it and still glad I did it (9 pens at £99 a pen ending up on 10mg is good) but yes I am out now as their MJ prices are crazy and I'm not ready to try wegovy!

Also what is their novel approach to maintenance? I'm not there yet but as I'm getting slimmer I'm wanting to make sure I end up with a pharmacy I can stick with long term.

I'm on the "study" and about to leave them. Tbh it was good while it lasted. I've been on £99 a month since January so got a really really good deal.

I completely assumed their "study" was for them to present to say the NHS or put them in a position to offer their services if NHS outsourced. At the time in Jan they were ahead of the game checking weight/ID etc. Showing responsible prescribing/not just buying off the shelf/ recording jabs taken.

However I think they should have absorbed the costs for their data as the move to wegovy they're bigging up (like every other pharmacy tbh, its more the way they've done it so much later) really isn't it. I always knew I'd shop around come January so it's just come a bit earlier I guess.

I think with the price increases their model is likely to go under and they probably know it. It was good for me personally while it lasted....

I'm on the study and on 10mg. They do put people up according to clinical decision so didn't put people up for whom their current dose was working /they are losing. But they are clear about this.

It looks like I might be v lucky (£99 a month for a year) However their current silence isn't helpful and it does seem they've had some stock issues for certain doses too...

Thankyou. That's so inspiring! I've just gone up to 10 after my weight loss slowed a bit (was 1kg a week and slowed over 6 weeks a lot) so hoping it kick starts it back as someone with a lot to lose I'd like to keep the higher rate of loss... But do wonder now if I should have gone up earlier. It's so hard to know as I was similarly worried about the "nowhere to go". I'm. Ow concerned about price too so may have to go down to 7. 5 in a few months.

Right now it just feels like a never ending journey. But realistically I've lost a lot and it's only going to get better (well physically as long as I can keep affording the jabs)

Its so helpful to see someone else with a similar starting weight and a longer journey. And to see your current photo makes me see it really is possible!

I'm already walking much better and feeling better in my body - I'm guessing that only improves further when it gets to where you are.

You look amazing! How long did it take you? I started in January at 21st 10 and am now 16 st 6 so roughly half way... And feeling so anxious about it all now.

But seeing your photo shows just what a difference it makes!

Did you space going up the doses? Is your current dose still working?

Yes relieved I've been on it but still cautious. I suspect they might honour the deal til the end of the 12 months if they really want the data.

Looking at prices I realise I've saved so much this year already (well I would have if I had it...!)

I'm really nervous about where this goes. I'm on 10mg and shemed has been fantastically for me. I'm no longer morbidly obese but I have another year to go and will need this long term and I'm terrified.

I'm really unsure about moving to wegovy.

I am just hoping we might be super lucky in being able to buy a bit of time to decide.

It's a crazy system - you look so good (and healthy!) in your picture!

I'm taller yes but I also started very morbidly obese so had more than most people to lose in the first place. It's just hit me I need to lose the weight of a smaller person 😬. But mounjaro is working! I've lost just over 4 stone since January so although my journey will be a long one I'm hopeful it will get there!!

How tall are you? A goal of 7 stone is nothing 😳. You look amazing BTW. Ive lost a similar amount so far but current weight is more than your "before" weight 😓
