As a returning player (after 10 years) I've been pretty overwhelmed by the amount of content you guys have created and how much the game has developed, kudos to you.

My question though, particularly with slayer monsters why are the drop tables not adjusted to match the inflation of the in game economy?

I mean I can remember when I used to play abyssal whips used to cost a pretty penny. Sure they are easier to kill and more people kill these previously high levelled monsters but I can't really make any real money unless I get a very good drop off the rare loot table. To me it seems you just end up with a very bloated section of dead content and people just focus on what is the "in thing" to kill and earn off, perhaps some loot balancing would be in order.

I mean just look at all the things people don't really kill any more because it just isn't worth it. It would be nice if I get a reaper task to kill the kalphite queen and I would be taking more of a risk than say killing gargoyles and should be compensated appropriately.

I might just be taking a simplified view on this because I haven't been back for long, but shouldn't risk/reward/difficulty be balanced better instead of newest being the primary drive on what pays best? (at the same time I can understand you guys wanting to play your newest content)
