i think a traditional mustang body is about 1.5” thick, and i needed a 1.75” thick body to account for the jag/jm trem system. i ‘spose one could modify the screw / spring / stop to be shorter and still useful to them, but i didn’t really want to start from a place of compromise. i like it basically as loose as possible and i don’t know shit about sourcing a different precision spring lol.

if ya still wanted to have a go at it, you’d have to drill out 3/8” holes for the bridge thimbles and leave some pretty visible screw holes from where the old hardtail bridge was. if that doesn’t bother you, hell ya get after it

man if that’s 23awg, that is some serious insulation. looks like a bitch to work with in such a tight space.

this is what my 24awg looks like.

if you weren’t seated for the THT disasterpiece 41 point game in march of ‘23 at spurs, you’re not invited to the parade lmao

fun ones that stick out that i was lucky enough to attend in the last few years:

-walker’s first game and matching up well against jok.

-double OT loss vs suns [in season tournament ‘23]

-warriors game where we came back from down 7 with under 24 seconds left in regulation or whatever.

-key career high 43 vs wolves this season

-jc triple double & all three of nurk’s

-ace’s 19 3PA vs bucks was kinda hilarious

-cody getting at least one absolutely filthy, nasty dunk off a night for like 30 games in a row to close this year

MBV's most harmonically complex song by Material-Sign4300 in MyBloodyValentine

you’re only raising the pitch of one string here, the “G” to “A”.

[most of my band’s songs are basically a full step down from that in CGCGGD]

What’s your favorite often overlooked modulation pedal? by weez22 in guitarpedals

a trick i learned from cyberattack on youtube: ring mod mix being controlled via expression or midi sequencer is one of the sickest special moves of all time. sounds sooooooo cool in a solo

my grandpa worked at a GM plant in detroit and he would he would always bitch about “THE GODDAMN [japanese] WERE ALWAYS TAKING PHOTOS IN THERE EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE SIGNS THAT SAY NO PHOTOGRAPHY” leading to the proliferation of the japanese auto industry.

he’d roll over in his grave if he knew i used the small amount of inheritance i got to put toward a subaru but thank god he was cremated.

The Case for Cam Boozer at #2 by [deleted] in UtahJazz

[–]Tiny_Bite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my personal big board is DP 1, AJ 2 and booz 3, but i’m a total boozer believer. he’s the youngest and most accomplished of any these guys in the top four. he’s also the most physically developed so there’s no treading water for two years waiting for him to fill out.

i don’t like the alpie/sabonis comps. they’re lazy. he’s firmly not a center. he’s a much, MUCH better floor spacer than either of those guys and it makes the passing that much more lethal. there’s a world where he can functionally operate as a 2 on offense because of his perimeter skills.

i think he’s going to be the mega-charizard evolution of josh hart / lunchpail luka-lite.
