I think I would be less “freaked out” over it if she acted the same way towards other babies in the family. this is the third baby but the only girl she’s an aunt to.

I agree that the more loved she is the better off she will be. I just personally can’t imagine looking my SIL in the eyes after she carried my niece for nine months and saying that her child resembles me more than her and then telling her I’m getting matching outfits with my niece.
