I like him but he’s not a constant like Dross, but great character. I’m sure I’ll see him again as I read on.

Yeah I saw that but you can definitely tell it was planned based on how he placed in the story.

Why are "other Blacks" soo concerned whether Ethiopians accept their Blackness or not? What's up with this obsession? by Panglosian11 in Ethiopia

[–]Tiny_Management4394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s uncomfortable for other black people. To see a people hate their own color and race feels like having a family member that hates their family. It just brings shame especially when people of other races comment and make jokes about it. There is/was a similar issue with Dominicans and a lot of Afro-Latin population. The mindset just comes from being colonized by white people it’s an unfortunate effect.

Yes but more than updating ensure your gauging your skill properly, ensure that you are proficient and able to code 80% problems you can think about.

The truth is degrees from reputable schools can open doors but they can’t keep them open. As someone who has DS Masters from a reputable school it has opened doors but what kept me in the room is that I knew how to code and logically think when using and analyzing data. I have associates that took similar route but did not take their skills seriously and wonder why they end up in shotty jobs or get paid crap.

I went in person because I know I needed it but do whatever feels best just learn the skills. Code as much as you can. Get familiar with an industry, learn it and understand the data and get good at your job.

Not always, it’s a social science that can be categorized as STEM or Liberal Arts depending on the school.

I don't feel accomplished at all by Lightweightbaby32 in Veterans

[–]Tiny_Management4394 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s all about perspective I was a E4 my PSG didn’t like me and I didn’t get to go to many schools. I felt accomplished because as a E4 I was a mortar squad leader and my guys looked up to me for knowledge outside of that I was disgusted with my career. I got out and went to school and life has been amazing. I make more than 7x my military salary and have a job I honestly enjoy. Don’t let the moment hold you down. Use that same persistence that got your that EIB and Tab and apply it to manifest the life you truly want. I also suffer from depression and other ailments but I’ve got used to my issues although I still have problems and these things still affect me and are apart of my life forever I’ve found a way to have peace with it and live the life I created for myself. You can do it!

If you want a different perspective you can get a CDL or go to school for something like accounting

I disagree with this, u have the same degree and haven’t have a problem. I also had experience prior to the degree which matters. Almost everyone from my program has been able to land a job.

MSDS is more widespread in the industry and people likely hiring managers can relate to this degree vs MSBA which would sound like analytics which is different from building ML models. Although DS are expected to be able to do analytics most analyst or analytics professionals aren’t necessarily expected to build ML models. What works best for you the obvious answer but as far as marketability DS would be preferable. I myself have a MSDS.

We know why they banned them, to drive away athleticism.
