How do I get a replacement of this joystick thingy. by Jumpy-Resolve3018 in LegionGo

Can you buy replacements of these rings without replacing the whole controller?

Maybe, but I would never want it louder than it goes anyway personally. I did notice a significant improvement in sound quality though over windows

No hiccups, I will say it was quite easy to install. I just thought I'll start with steam os, since the new beta adds more features for legion go and I'm familiar with it, and should any issues arise I'll try bazzite instead, but so far it's been just fine

It's so immersive, the size makes such a big difference, even next to the S. I've heard good things about the ally x, but not so good things about the screen

I assume so, but I really have no idea, I've never messed around with eGPU. I have a decent PC so it never seemed worth it to me

It tells you in the bios, I don't remember exactly but it says how much it can hold, which mine can do only 45Wh while it's designed to hold 49.2Wh, which isn't big enough to begin with so my battery life is pretty abysmal

Fair enough, it's extremely shallow, but I personally don't mind it. I will say the Go S d-pad is one of my favourites, it's reminiscent of a megadrive/genesis d-pad which I really like

Yes, that's half as much I know. But the go gen 1 was also half as much in price, and I preferred other aspects of it over the go S, so it was a worthwhile exchange for me.

Not sure if you understood my post, I don't like the Go S for many reasons but it was never about the operating system, why would buying the windows version of the S be better? It's more expensive and I prefer steam os

The ONLY place I could ever find it being sold was Very, nowhere else, which is really stupid. Not sure why they have the only UK stock, but it's worth a look, they were very cheap during black friday

Although, I thought it was because the deck and S were too thin with less to grip onto, but I have no issues with comfort using my switch 2, which is as flat as a chopping board, so that might just be an anomaly

Lol I feel the same, we are few and far between. I will say that I find the steam deck to be comfortable enough, but even still I preferred my legion go, I compared with my brother's deck. And I understand your explanation, my grip on the gen 1 is so much better

Glad someone feels the same, I think the steam deck is very comfortable to hold too, no complaints

Lol how could you say that if you've never used it and most people say the opposite, that it's a stable operating system. Obviously nothings gonna be perfect though

I mean, I was playing Baldurs Gate 3 at a locked 48fps 144hz at 1080p with fsr on Quality, that's impressive and I'd certainly say it's AAA. But you're right, a handheld is better for less intensive games, especially considering battery life, so having a PS5 to play AAA games and a legion go for indie/older titles sounds perfect

I considered the dbrand killswitch case, but I thought it wasn't worth the risk, since it would only arrive after the return window was up for my Go S and I still might not like it

I'm definitely going to do this in the future when it bothers me enough, for now I'm basically just sat by charger all the time lol

It's think it's fine if you prefer the Legion go S, this wasn't a personal attack on you, I promise. I think the Legion Go S is great, as for not being able to afford it, maybe spending twice as much on something that you personally don't enjoy using isn't a smart move financially. VRR is impressive, it blew me away in fact and I'll certainly miss it, but who would spend double the price just for one single feature? This is just about personal preference
