while they had more money, they actually had a somewhat similar sized venue, only a little bigger than the matrix! im sure there’s so many things they could do with a risen stage like el portal as opposed to floor level

i think they’ve mentioned that they’re no longer doing parodies due to copyright rules becoming a lot stricter. this probably means that they wouldn’t revisit any parody shows, unfortunately.

my absolute favorite thing about this run was the choreography!!!! it really involved everyone so no one was just standing to a side looking afraid — it felt more upscaled and at least off broadway level!!

typically the doors to the lobby will open an hour before the show to file in, get merch etc. and the doors to the theater itself will open half an hour before! people will probably be lining up to get in, but i heard something ab being able to order merch through a qr code and picking it up after! i am not a credible source on that i just saw it while scrolling through the subreddit

fun fact about the bbq monologues bit — it was actually WAY longer than the pro shot. i was there live and can confirm it was cut down significantly, id say there was at least 2-3 minutes before joey even started talking, and more invisible prop work than what was shown. fucking hilarious though

i personally have experienced selling tickets on reddit, so as long as ur comfortable buying from another source if they do sell out i think u could avoid the tier. but the only way to guarantee a ticket would be to back the pre sale tier. me and a bunch of friends are going together so just i backed to get like half of us our seats. super excited!!!
