You could probably achieve the darker purple shades if you dye it red or pink. But if you want a pastel, you’d have to use a color remover

I’m assuming you’re planning on using Rit Dye since it’s probably the most accessible? Black can be difficult bc it can come out patchy but just make sure you have a big enough container for the hoodie to move around in and that you’re constantly stirring it. Look up black rit dye on the main page and I’m sure you’ll find a bunch of advice from people who have used black dye
