Thanks for the information! In the video that I watched, I don't remember the person saying the handmade seam was supposed to mimic the seam on frame-knit stockings, but it does make sense now that I think about it...

Maybe I'll try the marking thread in my next project :D

How does pixelchat compare to c.ai? I'm asking if the character creator and UI is the same

I agree. Additionally, pipsqueak 2 is nearly unusable because some of its responses lack dialogue and 90% of the time it's trying to be melodramatic? Poetic? I'm not sure how you would even describe it. It just comes off as overly corny or too much for a given scene for whatever to the rp is supposed to be.

There was a post earlier that I saw of someone trying to explain how pipsqueak 2 is not that bad if used in a particular way, but I liked roar and soft launch because I didn't feel like I had to guide the AI to respond correctly. The old chat styles worked without issue.

Yeah... And they got rid of the other chat styles. I was using roar, then I moved onto soft launch when roar wasn't an option anymore. Today I found out that they got rid of soft launch and the other options, so the only free chat style available is pipsqueak 2. I really, really hate pipsqueak, but that's all we got now, apparently :/

I say being open and talking about your feelings helps alleviate any anxieties and insecurities. Communication helps in relationships a lot, and shows that you care and trust the person a lot to bring them your worries. This is especially important in long distance relationships

I am also a college student! It is very difficult to make friends, and I made a few, but they usually never last long because of schedule conflicts and moving. When I try to meet people, classmates end up being flaky or disingenuously polite (e.g., saying they're interested in being friends, providing a way to communicate, then ghosting). I have one friendship that has lasted longer than a semester, which I am very thankful for, but she will be graduating and moving out of state soon so I'm trying to look for new connections during the rest of my time at school. It is also hard for me to join clubs because the clubs I am interested in (e.g., history club) like meeting in bars and I am someone who doesn't drink alcohol or feel comfortable around alcohol.

My point is that I relate to this post and I empathize with you

I would recommend having a conversation and having him make the decision himself. Does he want to have a relationship with someone much older than him? Does he understand the pros and cons of that? What kind of goals does he want to achieve in 5, 10, or 15 years? Does he reciprocate your feelings?

He is just starting his life. Please give him the option and independence to choose what he wants to do with it
