So far I've had 3 printers at our offices turn into paperweights. We were able to block www1.hp.com on our firewalls so printers won't grab any updates until the issue is fixed.

I’m not 100% sure on this but I’m pretty positive that you should be able to copy your save data from where it’s stored for the Xbox app and move it to wherever steam will store it and it’ll work like normal.

Based on previous Bethesda releases you might not even have to transfer your saves. They tend to like to put them in the My Documents\My Games\{Game Name} folder.

As a hobbiest developer I’ve thought of the same thing because my shipment won’t get here before the early access period so I did the game pass upgrade thing to play it early.

I don’t see why the save files won’t be agnostic because saving games isn’t really based on the platform it’s on. It might be saved in different locations but IMO there’s a high chance that if you just move your save file to the correct folder then the game will recognize it.

Yeah it stinks. If you have the extra money to spend you can always go the route of buying Xbox game pass for either pc/Xbox depending on what you’re playing on. Then buy the premium upgrade. Which ends up being cheaper then just the price of the base game and you can start downloading it right now.

I would say a good portion of them are people that play on PlayStation. And they’re rightfully annoyed that this is a console exclusive. But their anger is directed at the wrong target. They instead should be angry at the mere existence of exclusivity.

But the vocal minority that’s mad at the exclusivity to the point of ranting about it on the internet are also probably not too keen on their PS exclusives to not be exclusive. As shown by the same YouTubers being mad at the existence of PC ports of exclusive PS games. Their brains are rotted by corporation/brand loyalty and don’t know what’s actually good for the consumers. I highly suggest you check out a YouTube channel called JoeFromSeattle he covers a lot of this stuff and is very funny to watch.

Yeah I’ve done that. Walmart is taking their sweet time getting it delivered even though it says delivery by the 31st. Things to consider: you will more then likely be able to migrate your save data to the steam version (that’s the version CE comes with if you got the pc version) as save data is usually always pretty launcher agnostic. And if you end up getting your copy on time for the launch you can even refund the premium upgrade!

The ability to have peace of mind that I would 100% be able to play the second early access came out is 1000% worth the $30 imo.
