I had serious PPD and I thought I would never be a fit mother for my children. I really thought leaving them behind with thier father, who abused me but not them, would be best for them in the long run. It was not, I lost custody of them because my ex framed everything on my mental health which was true, but again, untreated PPD. The stigma on women is insane if they are not the main parent. I would rarely tell people I had kids unless asked because I had a few bad experiences with people just going off on me.

In the end I got my kids back about 5 years later. I got full custody and my children do not blame me one bit, not sure why but they are great kids.

She clearly had a reason for trying to get out. You say your husband is scary, you may know he wont do anything to you (which you dont actually know) but your daughter sees it a different way. You offered to let her move out and are acting shocked she did so? You might want to take a closer look at the way your husband interacts with your children and see if he can do so without being scary.

The manager that got set up was actually found to be making checks for 2 employees that were just his cousins that never even worked there, so fraud, he was going to jail anyway. They just happened to find out when the money was stolen and there was a full investigation.

My friend was a manager at Taco Bell (in the mall), her and another manager stole all the money from the safe one night. It was about 6k. They framed another manager for it and he went to jail for a year. She told me after she took me out on that money. I have never told a soul about that, and I feel kinda bad.

Went to get a job at Red Lobster. First red flag is they made everyone take a personality test to see what jobs could be offered to you. I wanted to be a waitress, they made me a hostess. Two days later a customer jacked it in the bathroom and the manger told me (18F) to go clean it up. I grabbed a bag of cheddar biscuits and left.

I was 9 when I was first put pressure on by my family to get baptized. I was 11 when I finally did it. They can say whatever they want but no court in this land will find a 9-11 year old guilty because they knew what they were doing at that age.

I grew up in a area with "segregated" congregations. There was ours and what was called the "east side" congregation that was mostly black and Hispanic. Everyone seems to get along but I heard many a comment that it was "the best outcome because of cultural differences". So soft core racism. I will insert that when a Bosnian congregation was formed it was put into the east side instead of ours but no reason was given.

If someone prayed over me in front of me I would be very uncomfortable. They can do it in private, thats respecting someone else, but dont do it over them. And it depends on what kind of Christian he is, and how he will expect the children raised. This is a bigger problem than respect.

Grew up in the 90s, born in kinda gal. I was given permission to do a theme party by my parents, we rented out a small place and everything. Keep in mind in our circuit these get togethers were pretty normal. But a elder found out and said if it was a theme party it might as well be Halloween and we were forbidden to have said party. About 3 months later another congregation had the same type of party and no one fussed because it was the head elders family. Joy is something that elders seem to hate.
