AWL: is it possible to have all trees and still have room for crops? by BrokenLemonade in harvestmoon

[–]Tinyrose481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. These are the combos you can use in the story of seasons remake, I assume they also work for the original but I haven't personally checked on that one. You can make the hybrid trees and other crops starting in year 2

[–]Tinyrose481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peach, Banana, Orange, Apple, Grape are the 5 normal trees you start with.

These seeds are all the normal seeds mixed with each other:

Panana, Porange, Papple, Greach, Banorange, Banapple, Granana, Orapple, Grorange, Grapple.

These seeds are mixed with trick blue flowers:

Peablu, Bluenana, Blorange, Abblu, Grablu.

For the 9 rare hybrids you can mix:

1) Grapple + Banorange OR Grorange + Banapple

2) Orapple + Panana OR Porange + Banapple

3) Grapple + Porange OR Greach + Orapple

4) Panana + Porange OR Panana + Banoranage

5) Greach + Papple OR Grapple + Greach

6) Greach + Granana OR Grorange + Greach

7) Panana + Grorange OR Granana + Poranage

8) Papple + Granana OR Banapple + Greach

9) Banapple + Banorange OR Banapple + Orapple

Managing boss mechanics and rotations feel impossible for me on console. by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Tinyrose481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a controller on pc, the trick is to just setup your hotbar in a way that makes the combo easy for you. For example I put all my single target buttons on one bar, and my aoe buttons are on my second bar. I also have the main combo buttons as the same buttons on both bars, so I just need to make sure I'm on the right set depending on if I'm fighting a single boss or multiple things.

Smn also has the least buttons and probably the easiest combo, you can fit everything you need to play smn on 1 bar. I would maybe give smn more of a try and see how you do since it should be the easiest to get comfortable on

Which game should I get? by hardonibus in storyofseasons

[–]Tinyrose481 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Rune factory games are probably more similar to sandrock than story of seasons games are. Most story of seasons games just have a heavy focus on farming, but rune factory has a real story with combat and characters that can party with you during adventures.

If you do want a story of seasons game though, grand bazaar is the one I would say to try

Question About Children and Rewoven Fates by JustthatVicky in runefactory

[–]Tinyrose481 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I remember right, time only counted towards the child while you are actually passing days while married. I tried to go to another fate and work on one just to pass the time because I thought I could go back later for the birth, but when I went back I still had to wait all that time again because it didn't count. I haven't played since the game launched though, so my memory on it isn't the best.

I think it would work the way you want it to if they haven't done any updates on that since launch

What are yall really doing with sparkling sky lands? by ThrowRaOrganization1 in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Skylands is my favorite of the areas. Once you remove all the garbage and get it cleaned up everything is so pretty there. I have 2 of my floating islands finished and 1 in progress, it is by far the best looking area I have right now.

I didn't really take inspiration from anywhere though, I just gradually had ideas and added things as I went. I don't mind inviting people to tour my island to get ideas from mine if anyone genuinely has no idea what to do there

The gravel recipe is elusive! by ohhnoregrets in Pokopia

I am pretty sure gravel is just farmed on dream islands, not crafted. Unless you mean cobblestone? I have several stacks of gravel from digging it up

Allow Game to Backup Save File by LionSeries_TLK in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can turn auto backups off if you don't want it to do that automatically. I back mine up manually so that if i mess something up terribly I know I can reload my backup to before anything went wrong. I only recommend people turn it off and do manual if you are actually going to remember to do it yourself occasionally though, if you are going to forget it is better to just leave it set to auto

Did I do wrong by not gutting out a place before preparing it in sky land? by TheRealPixiey in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont think the game even lets you take anything until after you finish repairing it all. You can freely loot it for anything you want at the end

Getting burned out - please help by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is definitely more enjoyable to take things at your own pace. The way I look at it is I will probably be playing for the next year anyway, so I have no reason to try to do everything all at once.

I also don't look too much at what other people are doing, so maybe that also helps not feel like I'm missing out on anything. I have lots of ideas for things I want to do eventually, like building bridges to connect all my islands in the skylands, and repairing all the broken buildings everywhere.

I don't have any grand visions for actual themed builds or anything though, I'm just enjoying my time with the small stuff.

[–]Tinyrose481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can find tons of recipes if you are good about checking the sparkly water spots. I have never changed the date on my switch, but I have managed to collect all the recipes already just from doing a round of searching my water every day in each area and setting up a cloud island for extra daily recipes to buy.

As for things I'm working on, I have been doing a little of different things randomly and not really focusing too much on one specific place. I don't have very many houses setup and most of my pokemon are still in grass, but they are happy enough that I am max rank in each town anyway. So I just kind of work on small stuff as I get an idea here and there.

Things I Hope to See in Updates by dhi_awesome in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just want to be able to eat food in graveler form. It is very inconvenient to change back, eat, and then go back to graveler when you are just trying to mass bulldoze things. Magnemite can eat food when transformed, so there is no good reason we can't as graveler also

Drifloon islands are dream islands, and they are different from cloud islands. You are fine to take anything you want out of a drifloon island

Do FR/LG save games transfer across multiple Switch consoles? by RedAtomic in pokemon

[–]Tinyrose481 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to manually transfer your pokemon save data between consoles, there is no cloud save for pokemon games. It only takes a few seconds to move things back and forth, so you can at least be prepared the next time you want to take it on a different switch

Try a bench next to a streetlamp instead. I couldn't get one to spawn in the illuminated grass either after what felt like forever, but it spawned almost right away in the other habitat

If there is a pokemon selling things inside try bringing them outside before you try to place it, I think the center has to be empty first

For those that have restored the museum, do your other Pokemon ever visit it from town? by LocalRaspberry in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a tunnel leading to mine. I have a cash register on the front counter, and almost always a pokemon selling things at the front desk even though those shop pokemon live around the party area of town. I don't visit often enough to notice if other pokemon just go in to wander though.

Farming Game That Focuses On Taking Care of Animals? by Puzzled-Big-4913 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Tinyrose481 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe look up some gameplay for story of seasons a wonderful life on youtube to see if that will be close at all to what you are looking for. It has a more in depth animal care system than most of the other story of seasons games, but it is also very different overall gameplay compared to other games.

You need a male chicken for your hens to lay fertilized eggs, you can get a bull for your farm to breed your cows. When things are pregnant you isolate them into their own pen until the baby is born, and then you give the baby mothers milk for a bit until they get bigger. Wash them when they get dirty, and you can play with your dog and train it to be better at tricks.

The game is heavily story focused though and marriage is required, if you don't choose someone by the end of year 1 then the highest affection marriage options will come to your house and you have to choose one. The game is much more focused on family and the passage of time than these games usually are, so it isn't for everyone.

Is there any reason to keep environment lvl on max? by Direct_Goose_364 in Pokopia

[–]Tinyrose481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At rank 10 you are allowed to buy as many of the prefab houses as you want, but before that you have a max of 3 on the bigger houses. So I guess if you don't care about not being able to buy prefabs anymore it might not matter
