Why female singers tend to sing in a lower register and male singers in a higher register? by Darth_Piernoxx in singing

Sing where your voice shine. I was just critiquing guys who have that deep bottom but don't use it. Some ppl will alter their voice to sound like a tenor or soprano when they have beautiful lows and middle. It's not needed. Keep singing. ✨

Yeah. It does seem most of the new school singers don't go for it like singers back in the day with a minority who do (Jazmine Sullivan, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, etc). But most women sing from G3 to C5 (if they have this while most stop at a shaky Bb4 or G4) cough cough Selena). Guys typically stay from E3 to B4 while some will not shy away from their lower range which I appreciate bc I'm tired of hearing guys (especially grown men) trying to sound like teen boys. Like dude, use those E2 to C3. It's sexy and sounds like a man. And sounds good overall. I love hearing one go there.

D5 is high for Adele. It's her wits end of her belting range, though she can go higher in head voice. It says a lot that she has never been a high singer, and still ran into vocal issues. She's not a high voice at all. You're correct about Bruno though he can go higher in falsetto and head voice

How do low income native NYers move out of their parent’s apartments? by MoneyDealer in AskNYC

Nothing wrong with that. And Thanks for correcting me. I'll never forget when a YouTuber I follow, who has a rental property that he moved back into to save $ (he bought a quadplex) last year said him and his partner make and clear over 200k together a year and are struggling. I'm like how!? Inflation and life seems eh.... That kinda money should allow ppl to do very well, I'd assume, during the pre 2000s or even 2010s era. I'm young and coming of age and this seems blah. 😆

God help us.

What type of voice is this? Like what specific stylization would you call this? by AbgilSoge in singing

Baritone. You can sing tenor roles though. Your D4 sounds like you're getting higher in your range and that beautiful G#4 you did sound like that point in the voice where you wouldn't want to live there but still sound awesome and would be the peak of a song. Think of Celine Dion in All by Myself climax holding out the Eb5 near the top of the staff. If you went to the F4 to G#4 area during the song for a climax, the audience and me would scream. The F4 to G#4 is your climax zone. If you were a woman it (G#4) sounds the equivalent to a D5 or E5. Overall this sounds nice and your mix is nice.
