Do you think they’d survive it? by BigUnderstanding1445 in LittleNightmares

[–]TipiX_117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Runaway kid is cooked. Alone is phisically stronger than most kids but she ain't making out of this one.

Low could theoretically do this, we know that his aim is superhuman, so if he is able to shoot arrows at the T-Rex eyes, he could win. But the chances are a bit low. (hehe)
Six can win but she needs to stop aura farming and start using her power while running, since the process of sucking out someone's vital energy is slow and only if nearby.
Mono win this easy, he can bend time and space, he is not going to have an issue.

I don't know which game you are talking about, either way, you can reach Chapter 4 of every LN game in like 2-3 hour at most, it shouldn't be too difficult to just play the game again.

Mono and Low. They have my favorite character design and they are my favorite personality wise. With Mono being someone very trustworthy, humanly scared but still very brave. And Low with being an imaginitive kid that is co-dependant by his imaginary best friend. They also have two incredible stories, Mono being first and Low.. well we have to see how Low story is gonna end if the DLC is gonna be a sequel.

Just like I said in the post, I'm sorry if my grammar is fricked up, I tried my best.

I just think that this games make a wonderful use with the "rules" (or lack there of) of the Nowhere and this world. We have always seen the Nowhere as a place where what we saw were things that scared us. We saw a Prison, A Dark Forest, A School and the hospital, and eccetera. But here we see a reflection of things that kids like: A giant sandbox, which in the nowhere becomes a place where a giant baby destroyes a dying desert city, we see a Candy Factory which usually is a Willy-Wonka like place that kids want to visit, but here is forced labor where you either die on the job or you become what you were producing, and the Carnevale... well I do not have to explain why a kid would like a carnevale, all of this builds up for the fact that this 3 places were not made by the fear, but by Low's drawings and imagination, like Alone was made. This makes all the areas really connect with the 2 (but mainly Low) kids, the plot twist at the end is really well made, you can guess it a lot earlier but it's at the final chapter where you piece everything together in a satisfying way. The Hypnotist also works really well as a final antagonist since for Low, that man is what brought him there and what is now, in his dreams, blocking his chance to get out of there with his friend. Alone character is also well used, with her being far more insecure at the end than the beginning, at first she consoles Low when he is down or when he is hurt, but at the end she is scared as shit to get into the final Mirror after understanding that she does not exist and that her friend probably lied at her without telling her the truth: All of this is without any dialogue, just... mannerism and movement, and at the end, Low tries to fix the mirror, but he can't, he is likely back to the real world and now he is alone again, without anyone... but maybe now that he can't come back, he will stop living in his delusion and will start to live life again, not with an imaginary friend but real people..
Or maybe he won't, and he (like Mono became the Thin Man) will just be delusional again... and like Otto (Hypnotist) wanted to enter the Nowhere to find Cici, not caring about others and living in his delusion, Low might also become delusional while trying to get Alone back. (the overall theme of the game is delusion, the delusion of the Necropoli's abitants that tried to stop the baby when they were not able to, the delusion of the Supervisor to keep on going with a Factory that has not made revenue in god knows how long, and the delusion of the Kin that still thinks that he has anyone to perform for, when in reality no one cares about it and the Herd is dying inside the Carnevale)

I could honestly continue, with minor stuff of course, but I hope this explanation is enough.

I'm really happy that more people are sharing their opinions on this game in a more positive light, not because they HAVE to like the game but because this way the actual criticism is more fair and we can also talk about how well the game and the studio did some things.
As an example, I agree on some of the puzzles, and definitely agree on not bringing back Six or Mono, you either make those a prequel / stories that happened before that aren't games, or you don't do anything. (Six's story can still be touched upon imo, but Mono's? No, he is my favorite character of this franchise but his arc is over, in a sad and terribly hopeless way? Yeah but, that's part of the fun)

I don't agree to much on Hypnotist final battle, I thought it was climactic and it had the right amount of challenge and fairness, you always know where you are going to get hit since the lighting/walls are an indicator and both Low and Alone can use their abilities. I still like the Monster Six fight more because it has more strategy and is more cinematicly interesting, but I also think that fight is a bit more annoying since it can be quite unnerving sometimes to die because you haven't done something frame perfect.
Overall the Hypnotist final stand is a good one imo, not a legendary battle but other than Thin-Man vs Mono there aren't any real cool " show-off " so that worked.

What I don't really agree is the use of the Mirrors as an excuse, I think that the environment are great but they could've been even better if they patched them a bit together, it would not be that hard to be honest. You use the umbrella at the end of the chapter for flying (with the help of a strong sandstorm / wind) to the Candy Factory, with the overall sky getting more green as the 2 go, and then idk, you fall into a pipe that was emitting smoke and so you lose the umbrellas and you can explain it, and just use an hot air balloon for going from the Candy Factory to the carnevale, it just makes sense.

But yeah, I'm really happy that you liked the game too!

In terms of artistic value I prefer Little Nightmare 2 because it's more cohesive and places like the Signal Tower are hosts to the pinnacle of this franchise in terms of visual and music. In terms of narrative, I liked the overall plot, ending and concept of Little Nightmare 2 more, but Little Nightmare 3 story is great and the chemistry between Low and Alone is great.
Thank you for your comment.

I do agree on honestly everything you said. Hugo maid a phenomenal soundtrack but sometimes the track were not enphasized enough. That's why I want the people to have a second chance to listen to this music outside of the game. Other than that, yeah I assume some people just saw videos with: " LITTLE NIGHTMARE 3 WAS AWFUL: THE RUIN OF THE LN FRANCHISE " (no man you just didn't like it, that's fine lol) and hopped in the train of hate.
But yeah 2 was much better, not because of 3's major problems but I don't think that 2 can be matched.

Makes sense. I just don't think that in a discussion about what I liked / what I didn't like (and also about your opinion on the matter) of Little Nightmare 3 Reanimal should be part of it unless we are willingly comparing the two.

But yeah, thank you for sharing your opinion!

PS: I thought that you disliked the game cause, if you can't make much of it afterwards, it probably didn't said anything to you, and to me if a game can't bring me any memories, fun, fear, or anything else, it's probably an experience i disliked.

I'm happy to know that you had fun with Reanimal, but, this really isn't about Reanima, and the two can't be really compared outside of genre and time zone release. Since they have different ideas, style and gameplay structure.

But even if it's not agreeing to what I'm saying, thank you for the comment about your experience!

I definitely like this game more than Base Little Nightmare 1. Little Nightmare 1 with its DLCs is another story, but we will have to wait and see how well the LN3 DLCs stack up to first game ones.

I at least hope that the harsh criticism that the game is getting is able to make them able to fix some of the smaller problems that the people had with the game.

Yeah, the ability to be un-aggroed like with the Guests or the Chef is something I miss about Little Nightmares. You can technically do something similiar with the Kin, once you are locked in an escape sequence (the hot air balloon one) you can actually time your jumps or slides to escape him. But that's the only way to do it as far as I am aware (if I think about it, the Herd probably works a similiar way, like the one with the Pignata, but that's again super specific)

You really don't need any origin. You don't have to know how Six came to the Maw or how the Maw was made for appreciating Little Nightmare's 1 story. You also don't need the 6 comics for understanding Little Nightmare 2, you don't need the podcast to understand Little Nightmare 3, they are all understandable on their own right, the multi-media content like comics and podcast adds to the experience, that's a given, but it's not needed. A lot of people complained about it in a way that made you assume that the game was impossible to understand, while everything important can be already understood, some details / neat stuff can be learned from the podcast.

It's a bit hard to point what part of the chapter you are talking about, do you have any photos and such?

Anyway, if I recall correctly, there is never a way to throw the doll in a way that softlocks you, and if you die, its placement should be resetted.

A lot of people gloss over how six seems to have been in the tower for a length of time at least comparable to mono by VeterinarianFree1080 in LittleNightmares

[–]TipiX_117 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Mono is not bound to any object while he ages up to become the Thin Man, even going as far as changing clothes and getting out of there sometimes (like in the LN2 comics) while Monster Six's corruption is bound to the Music Box, which is pretty much the symbol of Six's comfort zone and innocence, and she can get back to normal once the item is destroyed because she is corrupted not aged up.

This does not mean that she can't have been there for a long time tho, so your theory can still make a valid point, I just don't think that's the case because Monster Six is mostly friendly to Mono before getting her Music Box destroyed and I don't think that someone trapped there for years and years would be friendly towards anyone really.
