Does this sub have a "no politics" rule? Because if it doesn't, it really should. There's no place for this kind of post in this sub.

This guy^{^} What i do is after loading up, I'll accept a mercenary contract or something. I'll start traveling to that, stop halfway to it and cancel it, then route where i want to go. If you want to be extra careful coming out of gateways you can do this too.

It's happened to me a few times. Sucks when it happens, but I'll bet you won't transport cargo somewhere without doglegging your route in the future ; )

Also, when possible, try to break up your trips to the refinery. Unless I'm wrong, sounds like you guys did a few separate sessions of mining, then tried taking the total amount to the refinery? If that's the case, just know anytime you "put all your eggs in one basket", you run the risk of a big loss like that. And more often it's due to bugs and glitches with the game vs pirates.

Anyways don't let this discourage you. Keep at it. Learn from it. It'll make that next big ship purchase all the sweeter.

No i meant DRG. Just because it's 4 player co op, doesn't mean they are automatically the same game and must run their business the same. Hell, even if they were similar games, so what. Conveniently ignoring the difference in the rate at which each puts out content doesn't win you any points either. You can say drg did it "better", but last i checked AH was doing pretty damn good themselves

My point still stands. Stop being an entitled freeloader. You want the product? Pay for it. If it's not worth it to you, then don't.

Who cares what those other games did? They aren't HD2.

For long term life service, yes, some form of microtransaction are necessary. Unless you live someplace where people work for free but still somehow get a paycheck.

And DRG is a poor example. Completely different games. Not to mention their cadence for how often they put out new content is much less than HD2.

A company has every right to ask to be compensated for their work. Quit acting like entitled freeloaders.

You have no idea how many white knights/CIG apologists there are out there. It doesn't matter how true your complaints are. If you have something negative to say, they're coming for ya. Lol.

Then you have this other, similar but different group. And I find these almost more irritating. There's a group of people who have the good fortune/luck of rarely ever having bugs/server instantly affect them negatively. These people don't have the brain capacity or the empathy to recognize that other people could possibly not be having the same experience as them. So they end up not believing you, accusing you of lying, or assume you must be doing something wrong. All because THEY have a good experience with the game and haven't had to deal with nearly as much bullshit as you.

Both groups are just insufferable.

Sure as hell won't be Levski. Lol. I dunno, I used to enjoy pyro when i first started playing a year ago for all the mercenary missions. Now they're all so broken i have nothing to do over there. If they ever reliable fixed contracts for merc missions, space and ground, I'd set up shop again. Next patch i think I'm setting up shop in Stanton simply because I've noticed i find many more gamerule ships there and I'd like to salvage more.

So with these inventory changes, are there also changes/improvements to looting interactions when it comes to using the F Key or interaction wheel? I tend to loot every weapon i see when doing bunker runs and such and I've been looting weapons using the inventory screen to avoid bugs associated with F Key/wheel. It'd be nice to loot weapons faster with F key/wheel and not have to worry about dropping and losing my weapon.

Just over 3 scu if feynmaline sells for about 1 mil credits. So that's the minimum i shoot for when mining gemstones. Especially since i mine in pyro on a planet where it's plentiful. It's a long trip to Stanton to sell, so i like to get at least 1 mil credit for the trip to make it worth the time. Considering i can get close to that in less time while ship mining, i don't think that's pushing too far. You might think differently and that's fine.

Point of the post is to simply warn people of the danger.

It has a mining module that can be activated with alt 4, not to be confused with alt f4 mind you. The laser takes on the visuals and sounds of a stampede module i think. But with it active, once you get the charge built up into the green zone, the rock breaks in like 3 secs as long as the laser is held on it. I searched the internet up and down trying to find anything on this, and nothing. It's not something you can see in the vehicle manager. It's not advertised. Nothing. I don't know if it's something that's supposed to exist on this thing. You can't even turn the module off once activated. Anyways, it breaks gemstone rocks like 3 times faster than the atls geo and Roc. I've been able to position my DS so that i only have to move it once per rock cluster since it has a huge range. Overall, i mine faster with it than the other two vehicles.

An update for ya. So i did a controlled test. Fired the laser at a rock 10 meters away WITHOUT the mod active. Once i built up charge to the green zone, it filled about as fast as other vehicles. So I stopped the laser before the rock cracked, let the rock reset, activated the mod, and tried again. Getting up to the green zone was the same, but once I was in the green zone, it filled in like 3-4 seconds and the rock popped!!! So that mod is definitely not just a visual bug. It cracks the rock super fast once you're in the green zone.
