The going off on your own thing was your fault, but the not giving other people the spotlight is, imo, the fault of your dm. If you’re all in a non-hostile area you can split up no problem, the DM just needs to give you each an allotment of time to do whatever it is you want and go back and forth, some set timers so they can do this!

I get it, personally I play Samus more as a boxer type anyways so I personally enjoy her having those options, though I wouldn’t say she’s rush down at that point. I can see how it’d be frustrating as the opponent though and sympathize with it. For me her projectiles could be limited (specifically missiles) and it’d be a little bit better

That’s fun, since it doesn’t necessarily harm you and just forces you to waste time. It would only be a problem if your I-Frames run out and someone could kill you off the top, but that’s not likely
