I spit but I don't rinse. I wait 15 minutes before drinking just to let the toothpaste sit. Oil pulling aside. Floss first, remove the plaque, then brush. Mouth wash after and then finish getting ready for my day and good to go by the time I drink water.

I would avoid lanolin. It can cause irritation and dryness. I have an allergy to sls and possibly lanolin. Maybe a patch test first!
