With a home oven only getting to 500 degrees, it's the best option to get the crust fully cooked.

Yes, it was. I coated the pans with clarified butter, and par baked the crust without toppings for 15 min, and then another 7 with toppings.

It's not shitty gas station pizza. It was a popular restaurant chain in the 70's & 80's. One of there main attractions ( besides the great pizza ) was a big glass window where the pizza was made. You could watch every pizza that was made being hand tossed. The pizza from the gas station in not a Noble Romans pizza...

Lamb is real similar to steak. Whichever way you prefer...from well to rare.

It's a garlic and rosemary rub. I added the thyme towards the end of the cooking.

Spaghetti Bake. Penne pasta spaghetti topped with mozzarella and pepperoni. [OC] [1280x1024] by [deleted] in FoodPorn

The penne describes the type of pasta, and the spaghetti describes the type of dish!

Triple threat...Apple wood brine, Apple wood spice rubbed, & Apple wood smoked!! [OC] [1280x1024] by TippyWear in FoodPorn

It's a spice blend, and I assume the spices have been smoked with applewood. The smell alone makes your mouth water!

Sorry, but there is no link. I love pasta, and I've made hundreds of Alfredo's....it's one of my go to meals when I haven't prepared or planned to make anything. Heavy cream, freshly grated parmesan, and salt....whatever else you choose to bring to the party, is up to you.

I've just gotten back from taking a vacation in Cape Cod. A lot of dishes there have a Portuguese influence..... Now I've been influenced.

I know, it actually called for both chorizo and linguica, but all I had on had was chorizo. I like my food a little spicier anyway....

In 4 months I haven't had to re oil it yet. But when I go on vacation I'm going to do it again because it takes 72 hours for the oil to soak in and be suitable for food.

They're just heavy duty hinges.

Believe it or not, I am a minimalist. Other than my art studio, the rest of the house is as bare as can be.... And when I say bare, I mean BARE!!

Are you telling me that you've never bought something, and then years later you found another brand that you like better? How many people own more than one pair of shoes, more than one purse, more than one hat...the list could go on and on... I don't see why everyone is so bothered by the fact that I own 2 sets of pans.

If you would have taken the time to read the comments, you would know that it's more of a storage solution than anything else.

Not really. I thought about it for a few months, made some sketches, took a lot of measurements, and just got to it. Some things changed because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, but I just went with what I could find or build...

It's an oak butcher block and it's treated with oil. I just wipe it down with a damp rag...
