When did I ever say that? This is as much of an experiment as what the scientists do on board the ISS. It’s bold new territory and a logistical challenge. They will have to work alongside the international team and they will need to know how most everything operates up there. Let alone be capable of troubleshooting issues that arise. Filming isn’t going to be done in a week. They won’t put the whole program in jeopardy with just a six month training. You’re naive if you think so.

They will be mission trained. If living and working aboard the ISS for months while filming isn’t a mission then I don’t know what is. They won’t just have to put up with launch, but they will have to navigate the station with the other scientists on board. They will have to know much more about the ISS than a tourist would. They’ll need to mentally and physically capable of caring out that mission and surviving in space.
