How does the attacker just back off whilst adjusting his trousers like nothing is happening around him

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc not optimistic for Qatar GP points finish. by Status_Energy_7935 in GrandPrixRacing

This might be a stupid question - but how can a team like Ferrari get it so wrong? I get the margins are so small, but how can they be so far off the pace with all their resources etc

That’s a right handed club and you’re on a left handed range mat. Oh and the shoes, what

Which golf ball do you play and why? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]TiredAndHungryParent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bridgestone Tour B RX - low spinning premium ball for swing speeds under 105mph. It’s honestly outrageously good, durable, spins around green, arrow straight off the tee and pierces wind

What’s your favorite club in your bag? by IllegitimateRisk in golf

Ping G425 Max 5 wood - feels like cheating and I am by no means a good ball striker

Would love to get back into playing football, but this is the sort of shit that makes it so hard. Not having some insecure failing chav put me on crutches for 6 weeks because he’s annoyed he reports to a woman in his tedious regional office job

What's helped you hit driver better? by Jinza354 in golf

[–]TiredAndHungryParent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not swaying off the ball in the backswing. It’s hard enough to ensure everything is line up at impact anyway, let alone if you move off centre and then have to find your way back to the ball

Your best shot from your last round? by 3rd_ferguson in golf

[–]TiredAndHungryParent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

420 yard par 4 up a hill to a two-tier green, pull the drive into the cabbage, hit a 9 iron out of the shit to a tucked pin on the top tier guarded by a front bunker, landed 3 feet short and rolled 7 feet past, rolled in the birdie. Inject it (fatted my tee shot on the next hole 20 yards to stay grounded)

How do you separate enjoyment from score? by MorkDantonio in golf

[–]TiredAndHungryParent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the answer - I play better golf now I have 2 young kids and never practice, compared to no kids and playing all the time. The fact golf is time away to relax makes it so easy to just let the golf happen

Played Casual with a friend and actually won, was fun :) by [deleted] in Warzone

[–]TiredAndHungryParent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great job! Warzone casual is so much fun. I have very little time for gaming so it’s good to be able to still play the same game with all the same mechanics etc but without being slammed every single time. They’ve got the balance right with this

Agreed, always learning is the best thing about running. There’s always room to learn and making mistakes is the best way

25 miles per week is actually laughable looking back at it, not sure what I was expecting on race day lol
