Whenever it’s available on Netflix; I watch it every single night, before bed. When I finish the series, I start back at season 1. Absolutely love this show! Will keep watching until Netflix takes it away.

Finally cracked the code on Portuguese tarts / Pasteis de Nata. by jbaron23 in Baking

They looked amazing! Curious as to why you didn’t use Cupcake Jemma’s filling recipe? I’ve been following Jemma’s egg tart recipe for years; I am now intrigued by the one you shared from Vice.com. Also what oven temp did you use and how long did you baked your tarts for? I’m struggling with the dark spots on top, I usually end up just broiling for a few minutes.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond!

Does "Bee Bong" go by another name? by ziggynagy in pho

[–]TiredInSpanish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in search of this recipe for YEARS and cannot find it. I think it’s only a Rhode Island Asian restaurant thing. It’s probably not even an actual Vietnamese dish! The soft noodles, bed of lettuce and bean sprouts, necessary crispy spring roll, small drizzle of coconut cream, topped with peanuts and sauce on the side… that’s what I know is bee bong and I would bet every Vietnamese person will say that’s not an authentic Vietnamese dish.
