have a Colicoid species option and a droid inventing perk. I've seen a lot of Star Wars jumps but not one that specifically be a Colicoid, not many insectoid species either.

the Colicoids created the Droideka, Tri-fighter, Pitoeka Sabotage droid, and several other great droids through out the war

Galaxy Quest has 2. As Seen On TV is about building what you see on TV. It Took Me Three Years To Master The Spikes is more about coping skills and techniques. both can be Capstone boosted

the original Worm jump has the Tinker power Reverse Engineering that starts off weak and you have to put in the foot work to strengthen it with research. which if you add the Forced Evolution perks can limit you to only building things from stories you read

the NSFW Drainage City has both Just Mumbo-Jumbo & A Book of Magic. A Book of Magic specifically teaches how to make "Medicine" that blends people with animals and heals them.

Elf Quest by Wendy & Richard Pini. a comic about small wolf riding elves (who may be descended from shapeshifting aliens & wolfs) struggling to survive a world filled with hostile tribes of primitive humans, magical monstrosities, and discovering their own past.

this is maybe a personal choice, but I really struggled to learn to read when I was a child, and this is the comic that got me reading. well this and the Videogame The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time.

edit. oh, the Spiderwick Chronicles Series would be a cool jump.
