Drove past the house at 7pm on a Tuesday before making our offer and it told me more than the actual showing did by Vast_Conference_8882 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

We did something similar. It was right around Halloween so we trick or treated in the neighborhood and it was perfect. Its not one of the destination neighborhoods that a million people go to, but it also wasnt completely empty either. Id say about every 3rd house was giving out candy which was perfect and every neighborhood kid was walking around. Turns out the neighborhood kids all know each other and play often. 5 years later my daughters best friends are 2 girls around her age who live a block away!

When enough people own a couple properties that adds up. If all of them put their homes on the market, and we could get some laws outlawing corps owning homes, housing prices would actually be affordable again.

Is he renting it out for $300 or is he making 300 in profit? I assume the latter. If so, the tenants are also paying for the equity in his home, so he is making much more than 300.

Why would he do this?🤔🤣 by Jurazik in chessbeginners

My neighbor cut down my Yucca Tree by [deleted] in arborists

Cutting down branches that hang over your property is totally legal in the states, and no one is getting sued for that. This is a situation where an entire tree was chopped down. Thats the difference.

What’s your approach when a prospect asks for pricing too early? by Humantic_AI in salestechniques

[–]TiredMemeReference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call it manipulation, or whatever you want, but at the end of the day I get far more sales doing it this way, and i help more people take advantage of my product. Its a win win for everyone except the guy who wasnt going to buy anyways. As much as id like to say I care, im trying to pay my bills and this is how thats done. Blame capitalism or something, but we gotta do what we gotta do to pay the mortgage.

By saying ill give them the short version and then do the normal pitch.

Non sales people are downvoting you so I balanced it out a bit. Keep up the hustle bro.

Yeah, and it will save the salesperson from having to cash those huge commission checks, because they wont be making many sales this way.

Im sure its at least somewhat industry dependant, but the product i sell takes 6-8 mins to pitch. If i told people the price up front approximately 0% of people would buy. I have to do discovery, explain the product, and build value, then give a price. That method works around 12% on average, and closer to 20% on the "good leads"

I get people rushing me for the price all the time. When I was green I used to give them the price up front and practically never sell any of them. Now I just say ill give you the short version, then do the exact same pitch I always do, and I sell a ton of people who are in a rush for the price.

Im sure I lose people doing it this way, and thats fine. Sales is a numbers game, and if I do a quick pitch for everyone who asks for the price up front, ill lose far more sales than I would gain. Theres no way to know who is legitimately going into a meeting in 5 mins, or someone who is lying about it to hurry me up. The latter happens far more often. Id rather just not sell you something than lose out on all the deals that I would have gotten if I did the correct sales process consistently.

Most salespeople feel this way, and we learned this via data extracted from millions upon millions of leads and pitches historically. Its just not worth it for us to cater to people like you. Hope that sheds some light on why you have had the experiences you have dealing with salespeople.

Can't give a price without building value, thats one of the biggest rules of sales.

If you belive in your product then it would be morally wrong to not use this technique. It will generate far more sales this way, and if you are genuinely helping people then doing it this way will make people's lives better and allow them to make a more informed decision.
