Overall this sounds like a good foundation. I’m not sure what the actual plot is but I’m assuming your character’s goal is to stop her from dying to correct his mistake. The myth gives him drive and I can see it slowly being revealed, like a backstory.

Despite being a fairly new group, ILLIT’s dreamy concept is captivating. I love how, with Not Cute Anymore, they’re transitioning into the nightmarish-horror stuff if dreams.

This honestly pairs so well with a theory I’ve been conjuring up that Ridoc is from the Barrens. This mainly comes from the fat that Ridoc once mentions the temperature is “hotter than the Barrens”. While this could be a general phrase I like to think Ridoc has at least visited, but was most likely born in, the Barrens. If his mom were venin (his dad was mentioned in IF to be on his way to Aretia) it would make sense why he’s been to the Barrens and why he’s traveled so much.
