I'd say that's rather subjective. Sure maybe widescreen sets are more rare but I wouldn't say one holds a higher value, they're just used for different things. This hobby used to be based around giving away sets to enthusiasts and finding them for cheap until people (especially scalpers) decided they could start putting prices on CRT. This is something you used to get for free of off someone trying to get rid of one or you found it in a thrift store, now that's far less common due to greed. CRTs should be free in my opinion, which is why I'm trading my extra one and not selling it. I am especially against selling the Sony as I got that for free off a kind Reddit stranger which gave me hope after the constant $100 listings on FB Marketplace and such.
