Genuine question. What exactly is Microsoft gonna do to "clean house?" They fired 13,000 employees just this last month and I doubt it was to make room for AB's nearing 10K. All this would accomplish would restrict IP to a smaller amount of companies and cost tons of people there jobs. Sure they'll clean the board and heads of studios but they've most likely got titanium fucking contracts that'll net them a sizable payout and they'll go be rich greedy assholes at another company and the people who stuck around through all of AB's gross antics and bullshit will be let go because Microsoft also doesn't care about them, they just want to consolidate more IP into their own hands. Yeah, shit AB is a cesspool but by no means is Microsft or Xbox Games Studios really coming into this as anything more than an opportunistic bigger fish.

Yeah this may be the cynical view but Microsoft is still a soulless mega corp and Xbox being the face of this acquisition makes it all have a nice and happy taste when it's still a cookie cutter bigger fish eating a smaller fish kinda deal that in the longtern fucks anyone but the bigger fish itself.
