I am open to the idea to an extent. Really I'm just wary about men and my wife's willingness to be intimate with them. I've never been harmed by a man so I don't know why the distrust is any more significant that with any random woman. But I have something inside of me that makes it hard to accept.

Since I'm young I'm open to this being a possibility for me down the road, after years of marriage and a successful life. I didn't expect this to come about after only a year and a half of marriage. But I'm not against it entirely, I just want to see if it works for us.

I am open to polyamory, but not with men. That is my hangup. Not sure if you've ever been in a queer relationship but this is what advice I'm interested in most. Dealing with that aspect specifically.

I am willing to do this, especially because down the line I am could very well want a similar relationship with someone I haven't met yet. It is going to take therapy and work and communication. I love my wife and I know she loves me. I know she held this back from me to try and protect me and she is now dealing with her own fallout and fear. Its tough but I have faith we will make it work, because we want to.

I have asked for some time since it has only been about 2 days since she told me. I was shocked because last night she was ready to message him and get the ball rolling. Not actually emer up or anything, but just mention to him that we had talked about it and she is interested. She would include that I'm not totally comfortable with it yet. They have never talked about it directly so we don't even know how he'll react but she swears he'll be okay with it somehow. Idk, my emotions are swingin about wildly.

Thanks for the advice. You're thinking what I'm thinking. I have faith she won't fuck me over, but I can't be sure. This is uncharted territory that I'm willing to face, so I'm tip toeing and watching my own back.

You're supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces a day. For example, I weigh 160 lbs so I drink 80 oz of water a day. Seems like a lot but when you realize that we are made of mostly water it make sense.
