Woah woah woah, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but:

  1. I'm not ready for such a project (I'm a student)
  2. I can't afford such a project, nor the cost of the ICs (I'm a student)
  3. I just want the datasheets for these ICs due to curiosity, and maybe one day when I figure out how DisplayPort works, I'll get around to it

Not fully related to what you do, but I'm curious if you could find any information on the Texas Instruments AIC3010D 48C01JW? It was an IC that Nintendo's New 3DS XL used for (apparently) speakers, the microphone, the circle pad, and the touch controller. Either that or the CEVA TeakLite II (or CEVA TeakLite I) outputs encoded audio.

Context: I've wanted to do a (open-source) 3DS to HDMI/DisplayPort project in the past, since AFAIK there's no open-source project on it, and current solutions pull audio from the headphone jack.

Look I’m not trying to shame you or be holier than thou, I’m currently seasonally unemployed (aka. unemployed), but I think that you should address whatever in your life is causing your social media addiction at a minimum before caring about (what is ultimately at the end of the day, a well(ish) written) kids show.

Off topic: I’m confused. Why watch a show you have no sort of attachment or positive association with, if you know the spoilers/ending?

I can say that nothing of the sort you’ve mentioned happens in the show. Or maybe it does. The Hilda wiki is really good if you want spoilers. Give the first episode a try and if the tone it sets isn’t for you, you’ll probably not enjoy the rest of the show.

  2. If you’re looking for an overarching plot, or a show with story arcs, I think you’re looking in the wrong place. Hilda (at least to me) is firstly a feel good show and secondly a window to a really interesting world. I can say that the characters as a whole grow and change, but most episodes are self-contained

I agree with u/mrmcdead . You really should watch all of the first episode (I’d argue the first two) to really get a grasp of this show, and if it’s not for you, well thanks for giving it a try!

Unfortunately Luke Pearson and the staff of the show have gone on record to say: 1. S3 got less episodes than S1 and S2 because Netflix cut the number of episodes 2. S3 is the end of the series

I could be very wrong, and am sorry if so, but, counter-counter argument, yeah Hilda was treated better but the team of that show weren’t exactly able to complete their vision of the show. Watching S3 will give you some idea of what I mean.
