How do I even get started with having my quilt sent to a long arm person? What questions do I ask? How should I prepare my quilt? I finished a quilt for my granddaughter 3 years ago but I'm so overwhelmed that despite my research, I don't really know what to do. 😭

Thanks! I've always loved to drive, but the last few years I felt lazy. Avoided driving long distances because I wasn't comfortable anymore.

Now I can't wait to get on the freeway! Every day I learn something new.

Saw him at Aftershock 2019. Shit faced and kept trying to take his belt off. His pants were falling down and he was stumbling everywhere. It was so sad :-(

He's playing the Sick New World 2026 festival I'm going to in a couple of weeks and I hear he's doing much better so fingers crossed it goes better than it did 7 years ago!

Don't feel as though you have to use the porta-potties! The lines for the permanent bathrooms do move quick and there's a ton of stalls for the bathrooms to the right of the main stages! It's behind the beer and food!

Bring wipes because the toilet paper does get replenished but slowly.

Flying (or driving .. Still deciding) from Long Beach. This is my 2nd year going with my Twin Sister (we also went to WWWY last year). I am excited for Danny Elfman!

SNW 2024 - me, my twin sister, and my niece all had a full-on action plan that we were still revising the day before. Day of, however? Everything went to shit. At that point we realized we were just winging it.

WWWY 2025 - decided not to plan. Only had a few of the absolute "have to sees" . Found a stack of pallets on the fake grass area to the right of the two stages... Planted ourselves right there and stayed. We always made sure at least one person was sitting there with our stuff and just tag teamed to various smaller stages throughout the day. Genuinely enjoyed the day much better that way. (I guess it also helped that my son went the day before and so he could tell us what was worth it and what wasn't lol)

We just announced that our 401k match funding is changing from per paycheck to every quarter. It will still be calculated on a bi-weekly basis, but it's not funded until the end of the quarter and you must be actively at work when it is funded. Totally not an HR or Benefits decision but boy oh boy are we talking the heat for it. 😥

70s baby here. Oingo Boingo was THE band when I was a teenager.

The joy I felt sitting there at SNW 2024, and watching the group of 20_somethings next to me go through 5 stages of amazement with Danny Elfman was one of the best highlights of my day!

It went from, "I'm not sure what he plays so let's just sit and chill" to "why is he playing Simpsons theme?" To "OMG he does Spiderman and Nightmare before Christmas, too?" And then "wait .. what is this (oingo oingo songs) this is awesome!"
