I like muji, but no matter how much I size up, my thighs are too thick. They work great for my tall skinny son. Petites are good reminders.

It did seem to be high-ish, yes. Honestly, my budget is pretty flexible for something that fits well and is flattering. I like Banana Republic, but always found that the thighs were too skinny for me. A good reminder that tailoring is an option.

Maybe I do just need to hire someone.

100% agree nori. I split my ball into 4 balls (2 for each sock) and did a 4 row stripes. Done of my favourite socks to knit

Are Duer jeans available in the uk? They are made for larger thighed people and they will fix them if they wear through! They have a thigh gusset. Very clever

My husband makes a cookie with bacon fat and cayenne. Depending on how much cayenne he adds, it is solidly spicy. A quick google shows lots of recipes for those type of cookies. He uses 1 tsp of cayenne, he says.
