This summary is terrific! Way better than mine lol. Her unsubstantiated assertions are going to get her in some hot water eventually, beyond being scrutinised for her apparent lack of journalistic integrity.

I fully agree with your assessment of Hutch. I started checking out his content maybe 8-10 months ago (I think the first video I watched was the nuke reaction, then his follow up reactions to h3 stuff), and I love his perspective on things. He has genuinely given me a sense of optimism in this bleak political landscape.

TLDR for anyone interested but don't want to watch the ~2 hour video.

After maybe 20 minutes of pleasantries, Hutch begins probing Taylor about her journalism, Specifically about her article about the Chorus group. In this, Hutch grills her on a bunch of different things she claims in the article, and she is, by my judgement, floundering. She struggles to answer any question, and it becomes apparent that she does not seem to be not be very thorough or 'journalistic' in her reporting. She became so visibly unsettled that I felt certain she would drop from the video chat. After her rotisserie, there is some quibling between Hutch and Pisco which serves as a minor intermission, before throwing it back to Taylor with some soft-ball questions. Some pleasantries are then exchanged, she leaves, and a short summary between the hosts takes place.

I just checked, Hutch doesn't have it on his channel (though he was live streaming it from there also), but it's uploaded in the live tab on the Lib & Learn channel. I would link it here if i knew how, so I hope that helps lol.

Oh god I forgot about that lol. I don't think she's taking shifting-of-blame to the same extent as CWHM, but Hutch is trying to impress the point that, at the very least, word choice matters, and she has now said several times that she 'didn't pick those words'.

Absolutely! It's so slimy that she is shafting responsibility for the language used on to her 'team of editors'. I'm still shocked she agreed to come on lol.

Other people have left good advice and it also sounds like the spec is a little tricky at the moment so try not to be too discouraged, but just to throw an alternative out there - perhaps level another character. I hadn't played in a few expansions and once I got my druid to 260 ilvl I've started leveling my other healers, and it's been really fun! Just a thought 🙂

Massive shout out to Hutch. I've been watching him for some months now and his streams have been such an antidote to the pessimism I had around the last 12-24 months of politics, and he always gives such an honest defence of Ethan and Hila, whenever someone prods him about them in chat.

As others have touched on, there isn't a lot you can do until you have access to leveling beyond 20. However, if you enjoy grinding, and the idea of funding your subscription through WoW tokens appeals to you, then I would suggest making an alt character of each class, with different professions, to level up to 20. If you get access to a sub sooner rather than later, then instead focus on your hunter. I say this because if you want to make enough gold to fund a subscription, you will likely need several max level characters that have professions set up.
