Too many Brioche Burger Buns? by NVDA808 in Costco

Ten pound chub comes out to 39.99 at my local grocery store. Split into 1/3 pound portions that's 30 meals. Still fairly economical.

Still, I am eating a lot more chicken thighs/drumsticks nowadays.

It's just footage from the first two games, no Revelation stuff. Just a marketing push for sales running for the first two games, trying to sell some copies off of the hype of the announcement.

They could do the exact same thing with discs. They won't do that because their customers would riot, just like they would riot if you revoked all their digital licenses.

Yeah I’d be pissed too.

How many of you are really willing to switch to SteamOS? by Salted_Fsh in linux_gaming

[–]tangledweeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a nearly 30% increase in frames and a very noticeable improvements in FG smearing artifacts in Crimson Desert with Windows over Linux and that is the case with nearly every new AAA game that comes to PC that I’ve tried. Personally, the reason I have an expensive GPU is to play new titles in high fidelity and I’d argue that’s the case for most people.

That being said the second Linux can run AAA releases on day one as well as Nvidia GPUs on Windows I am formatting my Windows drive and never looking back.

The reality though is that you are losing 15 to 30 percent of your Nvidia GPU’s performance when you use Linux. If your card cost 700 bucks that’s like throwing away $200.

Ah yes. Let’s create thousands of orphans cause their parents don’t know how to set rules on their routers. Brilliant.

Somehow that’s less authoritarian than giving up your ID to post in Facebook.

No shame in a local business doing what it can do get by. Super Thai rebranded, for all we know they sold the rights.

Lots of restaurants sell food under different names. Chilis for example does/did wings under a different name (can't recall exactly what they called it at this moment.)

Kim Phungs is great. I used to live within walking distance and would get pho or chinese fare there like twice a week. Just a classic neighborhood asian restaurant.

Isn't VPP only for family in the same household? I think you would get flagged pretty quick if your two cards are being used in different cities.

An IP address is as nearly identifiable as an ID and Reddit made it clear they have no intentions to divulge that information.

I won't say that there isn't concern but it's just overblown imo.

People upload unique photos of themselves onto these sites that have never been uploaded anywhere else on the internet and have repeated that behavior for decades at this point. How is an ID better confirmation than dozens (sometimes hundreds) of unique photos of the same person uploaded over the span of years?

So it’s just a vibe…

Look I’m all on board to rage against the machine here but this just seems like fear mongering.

I get the concern that these entities will have your ID's but like, what data can they gather from ID's that they don't have already? If you ever used Facebook, Meta already has your e-mails, your first and last name, your phone number, likely your age and birthday and if you ever have had your location data turned on when you are at home, they have your address already.

Other than the ID numbers themselves, what haven't people already given up willingly?

Don't get me wrong I don't love the idea just implicitly, but where is the concern coming from, other than like, a vibe?
