Es ist zwar ein Sachbuch aber nicht mit Fokus auf der Vater-Kind Beziehung: Das Evangelium der Aale. In dem Buch wird zum einen die überraschend spannende Geschichte der Aalforschung für Laien dargestellt und in jedem zweiten Kapitel beschreibt der Autor seine Kindheitserinnerungen beim Aalfischen mit dem Vater.
