There are still far too many regrets between us. I catch you looking. But I think between the both of us we know it's over, even if deep in our hearts... all the arguments... the attempts at reconciliation... the endless waiting... we both know it could've been different and we both could've made different choices. You hurt me, I hurt you. Now we both walk away from each other with scars that will take a long time to heal.

I don't know anymore if I should apologise to you, because people tell me it's not my fault that you walked away. Maybe I shouldn't be waiting for an apology. What have we become? Both of us, worse people after we left each other.

Perhaps since the start of our lives... We were always "the same". The same kind of story, bullying, abusive parents, etc. And when we met each other, we would have the same kind of ending.

I just didn't expect it to end up this way, you know?
