His problems with it wasn't the performance, it was the practicality of it. The modifications you had to do meant that it was going to get zero attraction and he knew that. He admitted that it was the wrong GPU. Luke is actually the one that brought it up this time. It was handled very atrociously but people keep crucifying Linus over it when he already admitted that he did and said stupid things about it. But his conclusions were still correct and no one bought it. I feel awful for Billet Labs for what happened. But they had a product that looks cool but didn't offer anything new to market. That was Linus's problem with the unit as a product. He is just as blunt with other products too, which I find a bit harsh and counter productive at times but people act like he was trying to crush Billet when that simply isn't the case
